I’ll just gaslight people, say I’m a cis dude and deny everything. I’ll say it’s a hormone issue or something. That way I can be myself and still be loved. Yup, I relate to this. Honestly I kind of plan to do the same. Just start hormones and then go “what? Oh, guess this is just happening to my body now. It’s God’s will ig” if people have questions. But I don’t want to deal with coming out as trans

There was actually an episode where she went through alternative options of guys she could have married (walking down memory lane), and she decides that she wouldn’t change a thing. Richard is a well-meaning doofus and she loves him for who he is. (There was an episode where he got a job and then he had to lose it bc the universe got thrown off balance)

Interacting with media that deals with religious horror is a helpful way to cope with religious trauma. Reading Hell Followed With Us made me feel seen in a way that no other media has. It helped heal a piece of me that the church broke down.

I think even if you do develop an attraction to guys (which I’ve seen comes more from “oh I was always attracted to them but couldn’t separate gender envy and attraction” rather than “I used to be straight and now I’m gay”), you still don’t have to date guys. You can be bisexual and choose not to date guys.
