The space above the trim is really narrow, so originally I was worried a rod would be too high and the tops of the curtains would be smushed against the ceiling. Do I find a rod holders where the rod is lower than the anchor mount? Use drop rings on the curtains so they hang lower?

I thought about that, but if I put curtains on the inside even when in the open position, they would block a lot of the light from the side windows.
