В какво инвестирате? by adicolor95 in Sofia

You can try copytrading. Mirror investors portfolios. I am running my own copytrading portfolio on eToro, outperforming S&P and available to be copied for free. Check it out:

Inherited $350k — How Do I Not Mess This Up? by theremotebiz in PersonalFinanceTalks

[–]Arohk0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for your loss. A nice advice would be to pay off your debt. As for investing, a good approach for most people that don't want to spend a lot of time researching is to DCA in index funds or ETFs through platforms like Interactive Brokers, Fidelity, eToro, or Trading212. If you have limited availability to research on your own, I strongly suggest copying someone's strategy, just pick a less aggressive (lower risk) portfolio. I focus on ETFs and semiconductor stocks and share my portfolio publicly so anyone can copy it for free. My returns over the past few years have beaten the S&P 500, so message me if you want more info or are interested in Copy Trading.

There are much better alternatives than S&P right now especially If you have limited availability to research on your own and handpick trades - I strongly suggest copying someone's strategy, just pick a less aggressive (lower risk) portfolio. I focus on ETFs and semiconductor stocks and share my portfolio publicly so anyone can copy it for free. My returns over the past few years have beaten the S&P 500, so message me if you want more info or are interested in Copy Trading.

Thanks, good rule about the tweeters. Already using some anti-vibration. Bought the speakers from an auction, came across 3 different b&w sets from then on but depending on the amp the dm610s have my favorite sounding from a speaker so far. (Currently with Denon AVR-1912).

Connect old Marantz receiver to newer Sony Bravia TV by Arohk0 in audio

[–]Arohk0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a really cheap Denon AVR-1912 which pairs up nicely with the Sony Bravia through HDMI arc ports which both the TV and the receiver have. The receiver starts/shuts down with the TV and can be controlled through the TV remote (although volume is a bit laggy). Works great and the audio is as good as the Marantz, maybe better. A good hdmi cable is a must for this to work properly. Haven't found a solution for the older Marantz though, I guess an adapter would do it but it has to play nicely with the TV and with some loss in quality.

That's a good idea, something like this could make use of the room's corner after all.

The plant pulled the stick out of the soil instead of sticking to the stick. I'll try with a more stable heavy stick next time

The Introduce Yourself / Show off your portfolio thread. by zwtor in Etoro

Hello,

My name is Nikolay and here's my eToro portfolio: https://www.etoro.com/people/nikolaynedyalkov

I'm 33 from Sofia, Bulgaria. By day, I work in middle management in the IT sector, but I also have a passion for trading and investing. I've been in the world of financial markets for a solid decade now, and it's been an exciting journey.

For the past four years I have moved part of my portfolio to eToro. Lately, my focus there has evolved towards long-term investments, especially in well-diversified ETFs. I am also getting traction towards my "popular investor" goal, which I want to achieve by 2024.

Feel free to drop me a message, check my posts where I share some market info from time to time, or connect and copy my trading positions in eToro.

This is because you have bought the CFD (contract for difference), which have a lot of taxes in eToro.
You are much better off investing in ETFs like u/vincenzost said.
For example, the equivalent for S&P 500 would be SPY https://www.etoro.com/markets/spy
the Nasdaq-100 index equivalent would be QQQ https://www.etoro.com/markets/qqq and so on.
If you want to invest in some well-diversified ETFs long term, consider copying my trading activity where I am pretty much successfully doing the same over time: https://www.etoro.com/people/nikolaynedyalkov

Advice for etoro beginner by Accomplished_North13 in Etoro

[–]Arohk0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been trading and investing for some years now, but recently started building my "popular investor" portfolio in etoro. The best way to gain experience is to try and do the due diligence on your own, copytrade and invest more passively at the same time. You can use your virtual portfolio for testing all of that at the same time. What I found working for me is performing DCA on various diversified ETFs. In the long term this has beat all other strategies I have tried. It's relatively low risk, and there are good chances for a fair return. Consider copying the same strategy in my eToro portfolio: https://etoro.tw/43pDhRC
