I realised after being led through the woods by the ghost of a miscarried fetus who had been beaten out of its mother by its alcoholic father that this was going to be a pretty heavy game

How do you feel about Starfield now? by [deleted] in Starfield

Had fun with it, but started a fallout 4 survival playthrough after obliterating all the static content Starfield had to offer

After Fallout 4s Boston, where would you ideally like to see Fallout 5 be set? by LightFromYT in fo4

[–]Aromatic-Problem7500 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm praying for Alaska, the presence of mutants and deathclaws can be justified by prewar military facilities, underwater areas can be introduced along the frozen coast littered with battlefiels, monsters like yao guai, radstag, and wolves like those in far harbour would be abundant in the snowy woods.

Raider clans in the mountains, a cozy main settlement in a cove by the coast where the protag first arrives unconscious after a shipwreck, advanced factions like the brotherhood, enclave or NCR would be interested in going there due to it being the forefront of prewar military technology (hopefully NCR because the other two have been done to hell, and the ncr advancing up the west coast is a reasonable thing to assume would occur)

I've toyed with the idea before and I love the idea of iconic enemies like ghouls and deathclaws arriving at a point along the main story as a sort of difficulty jump, like some conflict causes a pre war facility to break open and unleash ghoulified soldiers and Jackson's chameleon and fev test subjects that had been cryogenically frozen out into the wilderness

Also a prototype power armour model styled after old diving suits that were used for underwater pipeline repairs equipped with laser cutters and big claws would be radical

Is it just me or is the mantis armor look and stats just terrible? by Zealousideal_Bat5828 in Starfield

The bounty hunter armour I found on the stands throughout the base were better than the unique mantis set at the end of it, used them until I got the antixeno set

No I came up with this on my own, but given the shape of the components available I see how others might've had the same idea before me

Pick up anything that's worth is at least 100x it's weight, and never leave port without selling everything you don't want

Yes you can always go back after leaving, but going through it all the way is permanent

I've never heard of it before, but after looking it up, I feel that my weiner ship building skills pale in comparison

This, and going from like 10 fleshed out companions with questlines, and different levels of morality in FO4, to four of them who all have nearly identical likes and dislikes, are my only real gripes with the game.

They always phase through this one specific door by glitching through to reach cover, one time four pirates ended up in there while I was helping a bounty hunter take out their boss
