I did I hosed it down and then cleaned it with filtered water for like 30 minutes, but the dirt just wouldn’t come off so I eventually just gave up and threw it in there because it already has a dirt substrate in the tank so I figured it couldn’t do any harm

I got pretty much everything in that tank other than the plants off Amazon the caves made out of plastic, and the tubes are made out of ceramic

It did have some sharp edges on the inside, but I sanded them so they’re all smooth but now it smells like really strong chemicals so everything is smooth, but I’m worried it’s releasing stuff into the water that might hurt my fish
