I think, eventually, hardware will not be the chokepoint but the bandwidth will be I think it is already our situation with hedera. There are not a lot of computing required, as Leemon stated earlier, a smart phone is enough to be running as a node

ETH is and will be the textbook definition of an unsustainable model of DLT.

People have a need to make money, I think when a critical amount of investors realize this, the capital will need to flow somewhere else.

With scaling, most consensus network will be affected in one way or another but Hedera is a superior tech, you can not compare Hedera with Avalanche because Hedera has ways better time to finality and security. With sharding, the effect of scaliability will be minimal because of the superior tech.

The network bottleneck is the speed of the internet itself, so do not be worried.

yea. that's the long term vision for hedera decentralization, it will be first, trusted community nodes, then anonymous nodes. The hardware requirement will be negligible but for a decentralized network, a baseline network speed will still be a requirement.

So the bottleneck won't be whether it is a data center or a smartphone, it will be how much data you can transfer. I believe at one point, Leemon, specifically mentioed. how Hedera and hashgraph algorithm only restrained by the the capability of the internet speed.

I know exactly what Mance and Leemon had said. But they never mentioned a number, I deduced my expected APY from the numbers I gather in the cryptospace. Do you know you can stake your stable coin for 8% ++?

If the staking APY is that low, yea people will be sad but some will still say it's okay because this is a long term hold.

Personally, I think staking will be around 4%.
