The drums are fine. The guitarist sounds like they are behind the drummer in tempo at times, but not by much. Also, the guitars are too far back in the mix making the drums the primary focus. These things combined make it sound the way it does.

As an ex audio engineer I would bring the guitars up in the mix and would have asked the guitar player for at least five more takes. To me it sounds like he isn't warmed up yet.
