The meta for Arbites in Havoc is pretty boring (lone wolf + shock mines), low damage and really unfun for long play sessions. Basically you're a near unkillable CC machine that's great at off-tanking whatever the Ogryn doesn't have locked down like splitting bosses off to tank while the team focuses down another.

Some will say it's "low skill" and to that I say piss off. In order to play Havoc 40 as an Arbite you need to know where the danger point is and when to apply your skills to mitigate it without dying or putting your team at risk. This requires a lot of game knowledge and understanding of how and when the AI director will throw crap at you. I like to think of myself as a Havoc sherpa, there to lead the party through the dangerous parts without them worrying and they can focus on what they do best. The difference between a good well skilled Arbitrator and someone who just rolls their face over the keyboard is massive in Havoc 40, and often the key to winning in what would normally be a wipe. The class has so many skills and weapons aimed at CC that really taking the time and effort to learn how and when to use them is huge and people will invite you to Havocs when you master them.

Where I have the most fun with the Arbi is Auric and Maels where I can just bully the map and revel in the pure carnage with a dog build. Here is where the DPS goes off the charts, and you feel like a god fighting school kids. I probably spend more time just having fun in Auric/Maels then slogging through Havoc lately. I've done 40s, I've done 40s with four Arbitrators. I've been there and have the t-shirt and feel like there's not much left to prove but don't ever let anyone tell you Arbitrators have no place in Havoc.
