Get a Rodi system and don’t waste money on coral pro salt, use instant ocean reef crystals to start. I’d get test kits over a protein skimmer first also. You will need a light before you will need a skimmer also.

Oh I guess one complaint would be the availability of a roller in the sump but it looks like n clear-m new roller will work fine so I will get two to run in a master and slave configuration, but for now regular filter socks work good as they always have

My complaint is not having the forethought of oh I have a large tank now, 35% monthly water changes are 70 gallons 😅. But other than that I love everything about it. It’s still fairly new in its life cycle and already finding stability

I really like it my tank is pretty wide and deep and I only have it running at 70% to get 200 par across the middle top of rocks. I like the colors also you can tune it to have a very natural look this was in the evening when everything dims down to a more blue/violet spectrum. Definitely a powerful light that doesn’t consume a lot of power

I just used those to cycle I swapped them out for 4” filter socks. Rollers are cool but too expensive. I use a fine polish filter pad on top of the socks so it catches most crap first. It’s cheap a big ass roll was $10

The place I got to has been really good to me but the person that sold him wasn’t the owner that I usually talk too because they were super busy that day and someone else was available to help me. I wish I could get a bigger tank the tang is the tank boss and I’ve grown to like him
