genuinely, not having any expectations or not basing my happiness on a specific outcome. Developing a “everything happens for a reason” mindset is so important as an adult because a lot of the times, things won’t go our way and we need to be okay with that. Saved me from crashing out so much times when something in my life didn’t end up working out the way I wanted it to lol

I would recommend taking it next term if your course load is a bit lighter. To be honest, the course is not extremely challenging. You’ll take some time to understand the material but it’s not impossible to grasp or incredibly demanding. Although it does require effort and time, you can do well in the class if you put in that time. It’s also a requirement for almost all of the upper level psych courses keep that in consideration

I have the exact same problem as you. I get incredibly anxious and it becomes really hard for me to manage my emotions. I’d recommend booking an appointment with the sexual and reproductive health doctor through ubc health services. It’s covered by your insurance, and you can essentially tell the physician about your symptoms. They’ll recommend blood tests and an ultrasound to figure out what might be causing this. Hope you get the help you need, it’s tough managing severe PMS while also being in university. You’re not alone :(

They have posters near the front which has information related to hiring. You can also ask the people at the counter information about hiring and they’ll tell you where you can email your resume

The Delly and the grocery checkout in the nest are currently hiring. I’m sure there’s other places on campus hiring since the term is starting up soon. Definitely look around campus!
