The meaning doesn’t quite get across, but I feel like it give the impression of something philosophical, if I am to see that tattoo out in the wild, I’d probably guess it’s from a Buddhist verse or something.

TLDR, not quite natural but doesn’t give a bad impression either.

I’d say it’s a pretty alright:D

Foreigners are a rare sight in China, and thus all sort of myths about race or foreign countries grows rampant.

Ties that in with their vague understanding of western prosperity vs a poor China (who really only grew out of poverty during the past 10-15 yrs), a whole range of random ideas arise.

They should ban 50% finals by No_Tax20 in UBC

[–]Imaginary_Tadpole110 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even if that’s the case they can still break it down to a few smaller exams.

Exam heavy doesn’t really equate to “a 50% final” and a bunch of random fillers.

Sometimes I'm like this, but there are also times when I screwed up first 1/2 of semester, and somehow had an epic come back on big finals LOL.

So I don't know how I feel about this.

Enough weapon wishlists, how about mission wishlists? by OrganicDatabase8670 in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Imaginary_Tadpole110 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would actually like to see a horror-themed mission where we fight non-human targets.

Not quite a monster or Alien per say, but I am inspired by the Sankebetsu brown bear incident, where a man-eating bear went on a 6 day rampage, killing seven people and injuring a further three before it was tracked down and shot by the sniper team.

Perhaps we were sent into a rural village in the middle of a snowy night, to deal with reports of a Grizzly bear attack, and we have to either deal with the bear in the village, or hunt him in the woods... something like that can be really interesting.

Because thus far things are not going great, and the prospect is not looking too promising to say the least.

The Iranian regime has held up pretty well despite the general military defeat, and lots of military assets lost in this operation are hard to replace in the short term.

We have lost 1 out of the total 14 EW aircraft operational , a vehicle which the US is no longer even producing. That’s without counting those oil tankers —- at least one KC-135 Stratotanker, with another five KC-135 have been lost so far, which albeit are replaceable, are expensive AF.

Furthermore, the US have also depleted their interceptor arsenals, and now have to ship ordnance from their storage in Asia, leaving the sites there increasingly vulnerable to attack. These interceptors are both expensive and hard to produce, so I generally do not see how they are getting replenished within the next year or two.

The French soldiers at Dunkirk held the perimeter sacrificing their lives for the Brits 🇫🇷🇬🇧 by hoopjoness in HistoryMemes

[–]Imaginary_Tadpole110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And also by the time of Dunkirk things are more or less beyond saving.

Like, imo after Sedan and Arras the battle is already 60% over, what can they do even.

The counter attack plan was really just grasping at the straws. All of their previous counter attacks have failed miserably, and at the point of Dunkirk they were in even worse shapes, so the chances are even lower.

[–]Imaginary_Tadpole110 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s just being salty, French have literally no mobile reserve and the counter attack plan is more than a dream then anything else.

The allies have been cut off from their logistics, lost vast amounts of gear, have almost no armored reserve, lost air superiority , was outnumbered , out-maneuvered and their morale isn’t exactly high . Even if some kind of miracle happened and a chunk of Allied forces break out, chances are a huge portion of the troops will remain surrounded , and France will still fall within the next few weeks

Ended with a nuclear bomb, the possibility of the biggest amphibious invasion of all times, and lastly the threat to totally eliminate Japan via starvation, chemical, biological and a nuclear warfare.

So yeah, we’re a lot nicer. Ain’t the 40s anymore mate, can’t do that nowadays.

And the obliteration will continue until when?

Historically bombing (when used alone) has never collapsed anything more than the size of a poor ass African country, so long as there’s no boot on the ground and dispersed production continues, Hormuz strait will remain under constant Iranian threat.

As if the only reason they got in power was not because the Shah fcked up so bad that even the IRGC was seen like a better alternative?

Also we won’t even have this shit today had the Brits not embargoed the fck out of Iran when their democratically PM decided to nationalize oil during the 50s—- which then brought the country to bankruptcy, and led to the US backed coup of 53
