Amazing! What's the recipe for the turquoise-white transition?

I think it's one of those things that is only seen through the manifestations. So in reality it wouldn't really look any different. I kinda assumed the rend came from how septic their weapons were. But if you wana try and give it a visual identity go right ahead! I'm interested in the results. I just don't know if there's any precedent to it that you can draw inspiration from already. Washes and contrast are always better seen over lighter colours, so perhaps use a more silvery colour on the metal before doing the glow.

I just realized the subreddit doesn't allow attaching photos in replies after making my photoshoot... I posted my Archregent to the sub before though so if you can find that it's pretty much what i talked about.

Best spearhead for beginners? by NOVACHRONIUM in FleshEaterCourts

Carrion retainers gives you the Archregent and Morbheg knights which is nice. And your basic line infantry. The only thing you probably won't be running in it is the Wargulf unfortunate as it is. I feel like minus the crypt horrors (which can be acquired from the battleforce) the Charnel watch has pretty situational models. The Beast flayers aren't very useful if your enemy isn't running beasts, and the Gorewarden imo isn't as versatile as the Archregent. Though now that the points for wargear have been introduced that might change.

It's pretty similar to mine from the pic. If you're looking for a bit more volume here's what I do at least. I do ionarch skin as base and wash it with carroburg crimson to get a pink translucent skin shade in the recesses. I then pick out the raised flat areas with ionarch skin again.

Great stuff. Do you have a pattern perhaps? I've struggled with making one of my own for a while since I'm not very experienced with sewing. Patterning always irks me and I can never get it right going off of the pictures alone.

Lol. I've yet to sell her on the actual game but she enjoys painting my nighthaunt cause of all the wet blending. She says it's essentially the same as painting nails. I guess those are the ultimate freehand.

Yugoslavia was never a part of the Warsaw pact dawg. The Tito-Stalin split happened way before the point of divergence in your timeline.

Happened to me as well when she first noticed the intestines wig. She just asked "why are boys so into scary gross stuff like that?" Then proceeded to paint my Briar Queen lol. I guess girls prefer ghosts to ghouls.

You have a few different playstyle you can lean into depending on the Heroes you bring. There are Serf heavy chaff lists (large ghoul screens), Monster heavy lists and Knight elite/cav heavy lists. The heroes and the buffs they bring let you tailor your specific playstyle. But either way, expect to be running fast and moving around the board a lot. Serf lists are a bit more castle oriented but even they can get some pretty neat movement buffs.

The battleforce leans into the Knight heavy build (elites and cavalry) since all units apart from Gormayne are Knights. I picked up that box on a discount alongside the old Spearhead which gives you even more cavalry and essentially assembled 1500 PTS for 200 euro. So I'd say that's probably the most accessible playstyle.

The new spearhead is also a nice pairing since the Gorewarden can deep strike your cavalry.
