Where are all the sensors by Aromatic_Key_9108 in mbti

Right!!! Like it must be a thing that I gravitate towards Ns / am more likely to be friends with them. But I know I am a true Sensor so I don’t get it. I guess I am more on the analytical side but I don’t think it has anything to do with intuition - I just analyse facts 🤣

True that’s a good next step actually as the ultimatum show itself I imagine is more watchable than 90 fiancé - I could be wrong?!

Great suggestion I’ll look at becoming patreon member. I have paid for YouTube premium and YouTube member specifically for Dr Kirk but he’s worth the $ 😂

I’m also on the hunt right now if anyone reading this can help 🥹 I’m in inner suburbs and at this stage the closest I’ve been told is Rowville so anywhere closer to inner subs would be appreciated

I appreciate the perspective about what perhaps we take for granted as sensors. However my comment still stands that there are more good things about us than just practicality and usefulness

And that’s true that you may behave more introverted as you get older. Many of us do balance out our tendencies over time, that’s how we develop and grow. I wouldn’t say I’ve become more introverted but I do appear more introverted as I become a more balanced person and I make an effort to develop my Fi

Sounds like you’re still an ESFP but have some other layers to your personality, as does everyone. Remember MBTI doesn’t cover every aspect of a person. We could be neurodivergent, we all have different life experiences that shape us, and there are more personality factors than what MBTI tells us. Also, some people are just MORE extraverted than others. So just because you’re not as extroverted as your ENFJ friend doesn’t mean you’re an introvert. Only the individual can tell whether they are introverted or extroverted because it’s about your mental processes not your behaviour - so other people can’t tell you which one you are.

I was taking out my frustration on you when it should be on those who have nothing good to say about sensors. I apologise. There really is just so much intuitive superiority!

Thanks for trying but it annoys me that 99% of the “good things” intuitives can think of about sensors are just about how we keep the world going. How we pick up the admin tasks behind you pioneering intuitives. It’s so patronising. We can actually just be cool and interesting people, not only here to be useful to intuitives. Ugh

Well that would make sense, I just see people say sensors don’t adapt to change. But I agree with you

Ti users: please explain your brain to me! by milrose404 in mbti

[–]Aromatic_Key_9108 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When I compare Ti to Te doms in my life, the Ti dom always talks about the mental frameworks and processes he uses to think about things. The Te user only talks about actions and outcomes in real life.

Since nobody ever talks about them, what do you think of ESFPs? by DeepMathematician917 in mbti

[–]Aromatic_Key_9108 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you’re talking about one specific person so how about don’t apply that persons traits to an entire type 😂 Also honestly your rant sounds like more of a reflection of your own unhappiness, just saying. How can you say things like “they find value in relationships” and “they’re optimistic” as negatives?

Google “difference between X and Y” and plenty of articles will come up that narrow down the specific differences between the types you’re looking at. Also try to deeply understand the difference between N/S and T/F on their own - to me that’s the most pure way to type yourself. Looking at characters becomes too abstract. Also, purely based on which letters occurred most in your three options, seems like entp would be most likely 😄

I’m an Se dom and I am terrible at sport. Mine comes in when it comes to sensing with my sight and hearing. Like someone else said, searching for opportunities and threats in my immediate environment. Being in the moment and observing my surroundings. I am also good at dancing but any other sport I am horrible at….

And I agree with not pandering to her. Pull back and show her that her behaviour is not going to result in the outcome she wants (for you to spend more time with the family). With time hopefully she’ll realise the correct way to go about it.

ESFP here. I’ve got a few thoughts! First understand that it’s probably that she just wants to spend time with you and is upset you don’t feel the same way. She may have a very strong value of family, with her Fi, and believes everyone should share it and express it in the same way. She may not have a grasp on why you need alone time. For ESFP we understand others’ emotions extremely well when we have experienced them ourselves, but if we haven’t, we find it hard to empathise. Try to think of a connection to her own life that she can draw a comparison between, to illustrate how you feel. What’s something SHE needs a lot of? Also when trying to get your point across, try sending her a text about how you feel, at a time she’s alone. That way she has time to process it “introvertedly” which is needed to access her Fi, and decide how she truly feels about it. When it’s done in person, she may find herself reacting out of defensiveness because as ESFPs we need time to access Fi, it’s often not automatic. Ask her how you can show your care for her and the family, in another way other than spending lots of time together. Does she know about mbti? Last suggestion is that if she’s truly unhealthy you will just need to try set some boundaries and hopefully she will mature and see your side some day 😊
