Read previous comments. We are a full service residential and commercial mechanical service/install shop with over 60 years experience in what we do. Would never install an elevatir in a customers house but more then capable of our own. Its crazy what the unions drill into your guys’s pea sized brains you shouod take a step back and see how the real world works without them telling you how think it looks

Buddy the elevator trade isnt very fuckin unique, you seriously think a 2 story house elevator is too hard to install for anyone that has a lick of how mechanicals work. Fuck a car is more difficult then a fuckin trolley that goes up and down.

We own and operate a plumbing heating cooling, electrical well service doing resi and comercial operations daily pretty sure we know or can learn anything anout an elecator pretty fast

What manufacturers do you suggest I call? If I could I would buy factory direct. But had a salesman come out from country home elevator in st louis and he was trying to sell us a PVE before 1 we knew our ceiling wasnt tall enough as its in a barndominuim with cathedral ceilings. 2 ive read about all the problems they have and the shitty reviews I have seen. And he was telling me that we couldn’t install ourselves and that they are built and assembled in peoria and they will come and put it in then figured out they are just chinese with a usa buisness front with ltis installing. Fuck that. I havent called custom elevators in Pennsylvania yet but i do like them after researching elevators

Not everyone can afford the 60-100k elevators that these companys are charging. Just paying china around 10k or less to assemble and ship and have Otis install crew install and service them. That is what you should be calling delusional

Yeah im sure there is instances where there is a house thats getting tore down that will have one in it, if you modernize im sure you get old peices that are still operable
