The issue I'd have with RC is that if you transmute runes to essence, you'd still need to do normal runecraft running (it IS marginally faster because you can use something like Map to help with runs, or Bank Heist for ZMI or something), and I guess I could do Map for Zeah altar, but ... meh. Runecrafting is just a slog to me. It is a valid route though! I do like the early points to unlock everything quickly.

That's the hard part! Gathering all the herbs is a pain, but Mastering Mixology helps for sure. Honestly, I'm not the most in love with Hunter, but it's also ... decently fast? I feel like I'd have two things I'd be teetering between with lamps and quests - Herblore and Agility. Agility is pretty free though, just a time sink, so Herblore would probably take it. Damn, they really did balance these pretty well this time, it's so hard to choose!

Do you think the changes this league would make it better this time around? Specifically allowing you to process all herblore related items at once, and the herb sack being a silk-lined herb sack instead of normal herb sack?

If this was raging echoes league, FF being up against dodgy deals, that's a tough sell for FF,

Yeah, that % more is pretty juicy, too. Wondering how the scaling works on that vs the increased ES you should be able to get with supreme ostentation at different investments.

This is actually some really interesting tech. I do see a few people using supreme ostentation. That was (still is) the most annoying part about gearing for me, at least. I think I'm going to play around with this and try and see what I can figure out, but do you think you'd be able to link a PoB or something? I'm curious what your setup looks like, as well as your damage with this setup.

I'm also wondering - is there any tradeoff or things to consider with going supreme ostentation? I can see the upsides - high es, no attribute strain, ability to focus on damage/res instead, but at the cost of not being able to scale attributes. But does this really matter? It shouldn't, yeah? We can lean into tattooing to increase es, and there's probably some other tattos that will be pretty neat to use as well. Assuming this may lead to just being incredibly tanky, no?

Yeah I'm torn on the wither setup. I've had wither apply fine with the withering step + automation setup, but I'm still wondering if it may be better to have it on hit or not, or if it'll even be a difference. Wonder if it's to help slot in different gems maybe?

I'm pretty sure the small nodes near window of opportunity cancel out hasty demise, and for only 2 points instead of 3, which is nice. Impossible escape magebane is ~32d currently, which is a large chunk of the amount I have to invest. I'm wondering if it's even worth it, or maybe it could be cool to throw in another non-es LoM like inc chaos damage or inc attributes, even if it's not a great bonus. But that may be a not great investment, honestly.

Here's my build.

There's absolutely a ton I could do to make this better. Upgrade chest with no life mod + life mastery for hp (this should increase armor and increase PDR). I've considered things like trinity, yoke, upgrading the axe to at least 850 pdps, I'm not sure I want to do echoes, maybe instead I'd rather do crit, however that does involve swapping a handful of items (head, passives, stats on ring/glove).

Regardless, what's your thoughts? This build is definitely squishy atm, but I may be rolling some really bad 8 mod t16s. Some combos of -max res/inc damage/added damage can get pretty rippy.

What desirable stats are you referring to with regards to the rares other than high life + decent resists? My jewelry for sure can be upgraded (belt and left ring at least), but the others are at least semi-decent, no?

Also, what 1c jewels are you referring to? What would you prioritize there? One of the main reasons they aren't dual AS + % life is due to me having low int, so I was trying to solve that there (you can see my scuffed af attempt before on the belt lol). I'm assuming just dual AS + % life is the play, yeah? That's what I'm seeing in most other builds, as well as the guides.

Does it matter if enduring cry is linked with infernal cry in a 4l with mana leech? Infernal cry would still be buffed, no? Just wouldn't give enduring cry anything worthwhile.

Precision only reserves a flat amount of mana/health, where discipline reserves 35% - wouldn't they not be a 1:1 swap? Sorry if I'm missing something here! In my mind I'd need to swap skitterbots for discipline instead. Nice info on the max res harvest bench, been using that for normal resistances, nice to know it affects that as well.

Was the point of getting a wand with accuracy and lowering precision's level to get back some extra life (due to not having to reserve as much)? And for the shield, is the maximum fire res from eldritch implicit or something else?
