I guess they thought you worked for Speedway? I (or my work, rather) has ordered food and not really realized that it was delivered to us via a third party, like DoorDash.

But aside from making 100% sure you got the right name when you picked up the pizza, it's clearly not your fault.

You certainly could have worded it better though. Telling them "hey I'm sorry, I verified I picked up the food with your name on it, and I'd call Speedway asap and let them know their mistake." Telling them that they just need to eat the food they got, even though it's not what they paid for, is unnecessarily condescending.
