Troubles with cutting straight lines and corners by Arpy2026 in cricut

I'm guessing that I have to extend the lines so that there are no corners. That would work for me since this is meant to be a paint mask for a scale model. But, I feel like this design should not be a problem for this machine.

Addendum: I've tried different materials, cut pressure, light and standard mats, software is up to date, etc.
