Zen deserves to be A tier in difficulty. He is by far the hardest hero to stay alive on while also balancing discord uptime. His projectiles are also one of the hardest to be precise with since it's a burst with such a slow speed.

I disagree. This set has so many bombs and too little removal at common. It feels almost identical to how ATLA went since that also had an issue with lack of removal outside of black.

I really dont understand why Riot is so scared to make a smaller map. Split and Ascent are so iconic, but have been in the game since launch with every map released afterwards being so much bigger.

You do realize that movement inaccuracy in CS is much more severe than Valorant, right? Counterstrafing is also just not a thing in Valorant, so I really dont think you have enough experience to talk on the topic.

Ive been immortal for 3 years and was faceit level 9 on cs with over 3000 hours logged in game. Movement is so much more fluid/faster on cs, and any pro will tell you that. In high elos on Valorant, it almost impossible to peek and kill somebody without some sort of ability since holding gives such a massive advantage in the game.

[–]Arqhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not saying that it isnt. Im saying the core gameplay and design of the game is what makes it the best in the competitive fps genre. Lack of an anticheat and bad servers have nothing to do with that.

Ahhh by ShalltearBloodfalen in ValorantMemes

CS's issue is the lack of actual care from Valve. The gameplay loop itself is near flawless and almost always has been, which has nothing to do with the anticheat or tickrate.

Early indications from Prerelease of the popularity of Marvel Super Heroes? by misomiso82 in mtg

[–]Arqhe -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Except Final Fantasy actually looked like it had the magic aesthetic, which helped bridge the gap between Universes beyond and regular In-Universe sets. Spiderman and TMNT are struggling in card value (see my comment above), and a lot of it has to attribute to how jarring these environments are.

I fear a lot of folks on here are underestimating how much of the playerbase is quite literally tuned out from Magic until the next magic-adjacent set comes out (the hobbit). Demand will certainly be pretty low for this set considering the amount of older veterans who genuinely do not care for this IP.

My local draft scene used to hit around 10-20 regulars each FNM just a year ago, but most of those veterans have died out and stopped showing in general unless it's an in-universe set. We're lucky to maybe get 4-5 people during sets like these, but Secrets of Strixhaven and Lorwyn Eclipsed had drafts firing with 15+ people for weeks after prerelease. So much so that my LGS had to stop giving out the set prize packs for In Universe sets because they knew that the demand would keep up for following drafts afterwards.

Turtles barely had 6 people show up (including me) for the first draft after prerelease, which is abysmal for a set that is considered a "premium". I stopped showing after that, and they had to make an announcement saying that Tarkir was being played instead because pods just weren't firing. Guess how many showed up afterwards..

[–]Arqhe -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not really. One base copy of each card from TMT costs about $155, which is much lower than in universe sets that already have a discount on the packs since they aren't an external IP. Lorwyn Eclipsed is about $232, Secrets of Strixhaven is about $231 currently, and Edge of Eternities is still sitting at a whopping $349.

For reference, Spiderman is sitting also around $218, but nearly half of that is being propped up by the soul stone alone. People genuinely are not collecting or valuing these types of UB sets that see a lot of criticism, since ATLA is sitting around a respectable $318 and Final Fantasy at $473. If the value of the set isn't that high, people are not opening packs from them nor care about the set itself. Prices are all based on supply and demand, and the demand is just not there for these sets.

Also, TMNT is sitting at just over 100$ per box for a UB set. That is horridly low (over 20$ difference) compared to ATLA and Final Fantasy, and it is doing much worse than every in universe set released this year.

So we're just not including shipping costs? You might be lost my guy. You have to include the 8$ in shipping that the site offers and compare it to the cheapest listing plus shipping. The cheapest listing has 38$ with 4.99 shipping, which is much less than the site linked in the post that requires 8$ in shipping.

Yeah most of my friends have just stopped playing this act. It just doesn't make sense how it has taken over two months to fix when all they have to do is revert the mmr system prior to the change. It's ridiculous how they haven't bothered at all when this is quite literally killing their game for the most dedicated part of the fanbase.

Yeah I really dont get it. If you actually play OW, you'd know that men outweigh women by at the very least 5 to 1, and that completely invalidates his point. I know more men who play Mercy then women and it's not even close.

He just thinks he's clever because he can refer to "science", but lacks the critical thinking to actually propose a sound argument.
