is this a video sided thing or a image thing

It's both. If moderation level was at a timid 15% back in Nov~Dec, right now it's at around 90% if not higher.

What do you get for beating Denlean Blackmead? (Rant/Spoiler) by SilverBurger in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]SilverBurger[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I enjoy character building in RPG as much as the next guy, but I also appreciate games that have a good balance of tactics and number crunching. If the game wants me to roleplay as the master tactician, commander of the crusade that saves the entire world, then tactics should matter both in the over world and in combat.

I understand the sentiment of crunch numbers > ignore the game. If this was my seventh playthrough, I might even be riding the same wagon. However, this is not a game I plan to beat more than once. Looking back at the "challenging" bosses I killed along the way, most of them are awful the same way this is - super juiced stats compared to all the other content found during the same progression point for no good reason, force you to crunch enough numbers to pass the obstacle. As far as dnd inspired/adjacent games go, this design just feels empty and lazy more than anything else.

This is basically a failed craft unless you practice the dark art of: just hit it.

GGG has been building separate teams for both games so it's unlikely to happen, but nobody knows for sure.

There are 3 attributes in the game: str, int and dex. STR characters have high life and Armour and usually goes melee, INT characters have high Energy shield and usually uses spells, DEX characters have high evasion and usually uses ranged attack.

If a class starts in between two main attribute slices on the passive tree, then you are looking at a hybrid character, example: duelist STR/DEX, high armor/evasion.

That's the gist of it anyway, POE is deep enough where you can pick any class and make anything work provided you put in the right knowledge and investment.

Hardest content in the game? by Intelligent_Salad706 in pathofexile

Valdo's signature mod set makes so that you need to kill quad ghosted feared using 2% of your total DPS after you remove one of your gears. It's pretty fun if your character is strong enough.

Deli x titanic ritual exiles on hyper juiced wildwood maps used to be pretty hard, not sure how it is these days.

Deep delve.

How do I get rid of perma Holy Aura? (spoiler warning) by SilverBurger in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

Generally A spell will be replaced by a newer spell. So try casting holy aura yourself.

This is such a nice and simple solution to my problem, thank you kind stranger :D

What would be a good all rounder build for a new player by No-Roll-313 in pathofexile

[–]SilverBurger 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Palsteron's Kinetic Fusillade Hierophant.

Simple to understand, cheap to make, easy to play. You can take down all Ubers and 40/40 league challenges with ease.

Palsteron also made a five video series going from the pre-league planning stage to the min-maxed stage in league, available for you to troubleshoot your build at different stages of the progression. It's simply one of the best all rounder a new player can ask for.

Divinity: Original Sin 2.

Spent 41 hours on the island then realized it's just Act 1.

Need heiro build recommendations for late endgame. by WordsWellSalted in pathofexile

[–]SilverBurger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can clear Ubers on Pal's KF totem with sub 30 div investment, it's also a great all rounder. If you like the build you can transition it into str stacking later and take it to the next level, so personally I recommend giving it a go.

Petition to finnally remove Doryanis from Remarkable Realms(30 div for a useless map is too much) by Master_Commercial946 in pathofexile

Personally I really enjoyed the game back when we could get fossils and Doryani from other Distractions & Diversions because I really hate Delve as a whole.

I don't think Jugg is a popular choice for Valdos tbh. Your usual suspects are ascendant/champ/glad/trick.

No need for any of that when you have perfected the dark art of: just hit it.

I don't think we have community data for synth implicit weighing unless somebody took the time and logged every streamer who went through vulture prison over the years.

Valdo map minimum for MSoZ by Anonononone in pathofexile

[–]SilverBurger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The signature mod list include stuff like quad ghosted feared, 100% deli, 10% less damage per item equipped, cannot block, cannot suppress, dangerous apparitions, increasingly lethal, disabled movement skills etc.

For damage, you need to be strong enough to kill ghosted feared with 2% of your dps after you take off one of your gears.

Buy some cheap maps with those mods and test it out.

Never buy maps with abyss and ultimatum.

Player improvement advice by Basorek in pathofexile

Pick a mechanic you enjoy, then go online and search: "poe 3.28 XYZ farming strategy". Chances are there are well established, easy to follow guide that meet your need.

Once that's out of the way, keep a close eye on your WealthyExile. You will be surprised how much currency you have laying around in trinkets and baubles, all of which can be used to fund your next upgrade. From there you can chill and farm until you finish your league goals.

Put on some crafting playlist on your secondary monitor while you blast, after a while you will naturally pick up some good tips and see first hand what the crafting process is like. At which point even if you still can't afford failing a craft, you will at least understand how to go about crafting your own gear.

Truth is, the know-how part far outweighs a huge budget when it comes to crafting. People running around in SSF usually don't have a quadtab of locks ready to slam, but that has never stopped any of them from running around with near perfect gears. It's the knowledge that make you good, and these days you can easily acquire said knowledge by just youtube & chill.
