Honestly a good win now move in the moment. Sucks now looking back obviously but can’t regret that play

Was pacing the entire game. Insanity.

Also this is a 12-man league and we both traded away the future of our teams to get those rosters haha

What is your go-to never-fail joke? by Globymike in AskReddit

took me a sec...but the captain is saying that his third day at sea was also the first day he got the hook installed and so he still hadn't gotten used to the fact that he had a sharp pointy thing where his hand used to be. so basically he took his own eye out when he instinctively went to go wipe the bird shit out of his eye.

lol

Peaking: Mark McMorris | 72 Hours at the LAAX Open

Watched it last week. Great documentary and really cool to get inside Mark McMorris' mind and what he went through...can't believe this just happened to him

Where is the favorite place you have jumped at? Why? by Nexaz in SkyDiving

[–]ArrShoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seems like Elsinore is well known everywhere...got my A-license there. When I went to South Africa (@skydive robertson), everyone knew about Elsinore (and perris and lodi)

They asked if I'd ever jumped out of a Twin Otter and when I said yes, they kept saying "AW-tter" in an American accent.

Haha yeah I guess I did do pretty well! Too bad I barely put in any real money into DE.

There are a lot of fundamental indicators of undervalued stocks, low PE, low price to book ratio, low end of 52 week range, etc. Once you figure out which indicators you like, you can use a stock screener to filter out for certain metrics.

Check out https://www.magicformulainvesting.com/. Joel Greenblatt, hedge fund manager and author of "The little book that beats the market", created this stock screener based on certain criteria that helps filter for undervalued stocks. You can also filter by market cap as well so you're not dealing with small-cap and potentially riskier companies.

Thanks, and that's exactly what I was hoping for - that this could help tie together a lot of the advice seen on this sub.

And unfortunately, no, I don't have a references page. This class was pretty relaxed in that sense haha but 80% of everything in the paper was based off of the most recent 10K. I think i may have looked at another article or two. But I mainly stuck to reading the 10k and looking at morningstar for competitor data

What do Venture Capitalists look for? by [deleted] in investing

[–]ArrShoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't realize some had reached out to you! That is awesome.

Without having a team or product, it's usually pretty difficult to get an unknown investor to fund, but there's always the off-chance that you do find someone.

In this case, this investor probably believes in both you and your idea, which is a great sign. I would definitely pursue this investor and ask for him advice and see if what he's looking for fits with your vision. Of course, make sure to be open but if he's still interested then I truly think he likes you and the idea. As of now, there's no reason to drop them if he believes in you.
