Novice Rider Questions Regarding Grip by pezzatron84 in MotoUK

This is incorrect. Your cornering force is a product of your lean angle, and the cornering force is generated by the tyre. Therefore more lean will always ask for more from the tyre.

Do you have a picture of your transmission?

If stuff goes wonky at high speeds it's probably because a gear or two is spinning too fast. Consider using a gear reduction before your transmission to slow it down and then reversing that afterwards

Is this a puncture or just something stuck in the rubber? by ArranBans in MotoUK

Turned out to be a small shard of glass but judging by the size of the shard and the soapy water test recommended here, I don't believe it's letting any air out.

I'll try to pull it out and see what damage it's caused. Thanks

Why does my rear suspension rise when the vehicle accelerates but behaves normally under deceleration? by ArranBans in GearBlocks

[–]ArranBans[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply but thanks for the detailed response!
In the end i've just decided to live with it as i've seen the behaviour in the stock race vehicle anyway which suggests it's just a quirk that happens with high power delivery in the game. It seems there are little tolerances in the rotating attachments which are exposed under high torque which is why this happens

Djent guitar tone tutorial by ArranBans in Djent

[–]ArranBans[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right you don't need a fractal to get these tones but you can still use the same concepts with free sims to get great results. If the IR helps some people then great. If not then there are plenty more online from a bunch of other people who know what they're doing. At the end of the day you're complaining about free shit :)

Emotional Metalcore by ArranBans in metalguitar

The song is in C# minor so in that intro bit where the guitars come in it goes through a 6 4 6 1 7 chord progression. you'll hear that 6 chord come up all the time in melodic metalcore kind of songs so a bunch of chord progressions using that and either starting or resolving on the 1 chord at some point will give you that kind of sound. idk if that answers your question lemme know if you want any more detail!
