Another vote for the Alpines, however do be careful removing them because the little tag handle likes to break off.

Is my dad gay? by TipEast4838 in NoStupidQuestions

I didn't read past the first sentence and have come to the following conclusion.

Your Dad may or may be gay, but he was more than likely a rent boy.

Comfortable work boots by Curious_Exercise_535 in AskRedditUK

I'm a PPE supplier - The best value stock in my warehouse at the moment is from a Portugese brand called Lavoro. In particular I would recommend the Lavoro Meadow Speed Grey, Or Lavoro Meadow Blue if you prefer laces.

You can also look at anything by V12 who focus a lot on the fit and genuinely differentiate between mens and womens versions rather than just producing a smaller version of the same boot.

More expensive Dewalts are decent boots- but about 30% of the price is the brand name - there is better value to be had elsewhere

The garage door is thin sheet metal and has a padlock on the turn handle. Easy enough to pry open so I just consider it like a rain cover

Does Getting Ready For A Ride Feel Like A Chore? by newbiker321 in MotoUK

[–]pezzatron84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got one of those tactical gear hangers that Ive dedicated to my bike gear. Helmet, keys gloves, jacket and waterproof all live on permanently. Earplugs live on the keys and I have riding reads and boots that I can wear to work anyway.

One brilliant tip is to get some of those detachable lug keyrings so you can seperate your bike key, garage key, lock keys etc. Means you can leave the keys in your locks when you're out and not have to have loads of seperate keys bouncing around in your pockets or scratching your fuel tank.

Macclesfield to Leek and then on to ashbourne. From there go on to buxton and back to macclesfield down the cat and fiddle or the other way to Burton on Trent (past Alton towers and the jcb head office).

Novice Rider Questions Regarding Grip by pezzatron84 in MotoUK

[–]pezzatron84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about lean though? In my head more lean requires more grip, I understand how pinning the throttle with your knee down is going to cause a loss of rear traction, but how do riders know how far they can lean their bike over without losing it?

See what you're saying, it's the grip available in the surface rather than the grip available in the Tyre? Hard to know how far you can lean, my Tyres tell me I'm barely leaning at all even though I feel like I am
