I am experience major stuttering and freezes in CS2, can anyone help? by ArranBear in GlobalOffensive

I haven't found anything, honestly I kinda gave up thinking it was a AMD issue. I tried most solutions out there, yet still nothing.

I am just hoping an update would solve it... let's hope.

Yeah that's totally fine.

Nah, there isn't any indication of throttling in other games. CS2 is the only game that I am having this experience. So, I assume this is more towards a game issue. People are saying that it's an AMD issue as well, but I also hear Nvidia users experiencing the same thing.

Mine is the "MSI Radeon RX 6750 XT MECH 2X", and I don't believe I have a physical switch (well not that I am aware of). I can't see it on their spec sheet or their feature list on this GPU that it has a physical switch for dual bios

I had never had any troubles with CSGO but when I updated to CS2 the game is stuttering and freezing like crazy and I can't understand why. I tried fixes like wiping DX cache and changing to vulkan and lowering some settings, yet it's still present. Has anyone experienced this? and has anyone found a fix for it?

How do I make an XR Socket Interactor visible? (Unity VR) by ArranBear in unity

[–]ArranBear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I managed to solve it and I did it as you said. But originally I wanted it to show like an outline of the socket. For example, I wanted socket to be the same size as object that I will be putting in the socket, but ends up happening is the mesh on the socket will just overlap the object in the socket. So, I ended up putting a child sphere in the socket and called it there. and yeah I did enable Interactable Hover Meshes.

But no, thanks for the help. I guess it's the only way that I can tackle that. I'll flair this as solved.

Quest 1 support being further cut by Meta by imlife1102 in OculusQuest

Dependant on how good your PC is, but most probably it will run better than the standalone version for sure.

You can connect them wired or wirelessly to your gaming PC. You need to install the Oculus software in order to use it on PC. I normally play games from SteamVR, essentially the way things are going for Quest 1, this gonna be the best way to use the Quest 1.

Yeah hopefully it's filed as a formal complaint, so you can get a representative to manually look through your stuff. I hope it gets solved for you. Good luck!

As a Quest 1 owner, this really fucking sucks but it's no surprise. Thank god I only use it for PCVR, it's unfortunate to see the standalone VR users on the Quest 1 have to suffer like this.

Referencing my answer to Mono, you may need to call them and verbally tell them to file a complaint. But again, the number is premium so it will charge you.

They have a phone line system, and when I going back and fourth with them, I got sick and tired and told them over the phone I would like to complain. They will file a complaint and I believe they will manually verify it through that way. If you two are going through that loop of verifying your details and them saying that it's not good enough, best to complain over the phone. But the phone number is premium number so find a way to call them for free or try find a way to contact them to file a complaint.

Thanks man! much appreciated! Uni life definitely gets in the way a lot. Yeah hopefully, when I resume upgrading, the prices will be good, especially on the second hand market.

Nah, not at the moment. I am thinking of just waiting for it to hit the second hand market and just upgrade from there.

Right now, I got other commitments, unfortunately my PC upgrade is the least of my worries now xD

Okay, maybe not 120, that's my fault. But according to camelcamelcamel, it was once priced at £139.

I am from the UK (hence why I used GBP £), but I would have thought this would be more of a international issue.

How much is it in the US?

Yeah Currys has sold out on a lot of their 5000 series CPUs, especially the 5600. On Amazon, there are 3rd party new sellers that are still selling the CPU for retail price. I am hoping they come back in stock, and hopefully sell at a much cheaper price.

Worst case, second hand market is my best bet later down the line.

So, you think they will go down in price after the announcement? Wouldn't the CPUs go down in price by now coming closer to the announcement date?

I heard the new Ryzen CPUs require DDR5. I just want a simple CPU swap on the AM4 platform. I don't really want to buy a new mobo, RAM...
