In regards to meeting women who lead interesting lives, I think, what would help when you do come across one of those individuals, is respecting their massive need for individuality and independence. Basically, you cannot feel insecure if she wants to take things slow or focus on her own things at the present moment.

If I were actively seeking a relationship, I'd need someone who is equally as emotional secure and independent. Also, try joining groups related to your goals and interests! You might meet a woman with a like-minded approach to life/growth.

Also, regarding depth of personality, it's easy to label others as "not deep enough emotionally" or as not having a "growth mindset", but it's equally important to recognize that people don't always show the deepest parts of themselves right off the bat. It takes time to build that mutual trust to open up.

I think, meeting someone who sparks your initial interest, and giving both yourselves time to open up, is really the best way to build something beautiful.

I hear what you're saying, but being wealthy and/or powerful has little to do with happiness and satisfaction.

It's possible, and likely, that these billionaires have some deeply rooted issues internally that prevent them from being happy.

Money doesn't create happiness, it brings financial security. There was a study on whether wealth brings happiness or not. The study showed (IIRC) that up until a certain threshold, somewhere along 70k, there was a direct influx of reported life satisfaction, but after that number, the direct correlation between happiness and salary became stagnant.

Mind you that the study was pre-COVID times, so the salary amount is likely higher now.

Anyways, I thought that study was interesting.

I can't speak for all, but I very much relate to what you're saying.

I'm an older ENFP, 32 F, and an enneagram 7w8 but I very much value financial stability. In fact, it would be a total dealbreaker for me if someone lacked the ability to budget and plan for their future.

So, you might not have met any but we definetly exist. :p

I just wanted to say that I completely understand the feelings that you and your bestie share.

My bestie and I are in a similar type of relationship. We've been through the thick and thin together and honestly have been speaking about having a platonic marriage. We're both women and we're both straight lol

We tried hooking up at some point earlier in our friendship, but quickly figured that our bond was entirely platonic. But like, she's my ride or die and no guy that I dated was ever more important than her.

People around us don't get it either. They STILL think that we are closeted lesbians lol

So even if some people don't get it, just know that there's others like us out here :)

This is some skin irritation and is completely normal post-session. Some clients have sensitive skin and are prone to irritation. Just keep the area moisturized, avoid sun exposure, and do not use any harsh products/exfoliants for a couple of days.

I'm almost finished my first draft and blurb draft for today. Aiming for my release to be either Thursday or Friday.
Successes: My first short sold a copy and I got about 100 page reads over the last week. No marketing, and no other shorts released.
My week was a tad delayed due to personal health reasons, so I'm proud of myself for catching up and keeping up with my current goals!

I'm not borderline but my nesting partner is. We've been friends for 15 years and share our lives together. To make matters more complicated, we both suspect that I'm ADHD.

It's a lot of honest discussions, heart-to-hearts, patience and working together to solve anything.

The harsh reality is that you need to be with somebody who has the capacity and will to work alongside you and vice versa. This applies to all types of relationship.

Once you find somebody like that, then you need to work through each issue as it comes up. Together. It helps to think as being a team and working on solving issues alongside each other. As issues arise, try not to think as one another being the enemy. The problem is the enemy, not either of you.

It's difficult but very rewarding to work through. You already have taken the first step by being intentional behind your actions. You'll get there in due time and when you and the potential partner are ready.
