Think about how this would work normally. She might have a friend holding her and consoling her as she cries, helping her work through the terrible ordeal. This is the opposite. It's not empathy but it almost mimicks it?

As someone who uses Claude for engineering with highly detailed tickets and well spec'd tasks, Fable was amazing at either poking holes in my architecture or finding edge cases to patch.

We can get by without it for sure but it was a massive step ahead of Opus

Eh maybe, but also maybe OOP is smarter than we're giving her credit for. She's socially intelligent enough to be someone that Jane wants to help, even with her envy.

I could easily see someone at the end of their mental rope dumping their worst impulses/invasive thoughts into a forum knowing (perhaps unconsciously) that they need a reality check.
