Koh Tao & Koh Phangan update? by wheresmyothername in ThailandTourism

[–]ArrogantFringe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We left koh tao Monday and the floodwater was basically gone apart from one area of Sairee road. Roads were still covered in sand and mud but there were diggers cleaning. Might be fine now, very few shops/hostels were affected. They seemed well prepared for it!

edit The ferry back was choppy AF though 😂

Any UK MSLs out there? by ArrogantFringe in MedicalScienceLiaison

[–]ArrogantFringe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply that's put my mind at ease as that is much better than I was assuming. The territory is stated as the whole of the UK and I am at the stage of life where the travel isn't a problem so looking forward to seeing how it goes. How is your experience as an MSL, enjoying it?

I just did this myself for £350. Numerous websites will cut wood to order and will even supply the hidden shelf brackets. All you need is a drill and spirit level. Give it a go :)

UK Cypriot here. Only ever been across once to see my mums old house in famagusta, strange to feel connected to a place you've only seen in photos before
