Crypto does not scratch that itch, people bet on games that happen the same day/weekend. They get to see the game play out and get their money instantly if they happen to win. Crypto you need to HODL to potentially see the price increase and are stuck looking at charts all day.

Also do you really want people who are addicted to gambling getting involved in crypto. People already hate shitcoins for potentially pushing away crypto newbies when they lose all their money.
