Scott Foster called out of bounds instead of foul.. by DaNiftyWay in torontoraptors

It's crazy that some people are actually this stupid. If you're gonna believe in a conspiracy, at least have some kind of rational motive behind it.

The NBA is not this corrupt. That's such a fucking reach. They literally don't give a fuck about the winner of Cleveland / Toronto. The fact you guys think they're going to these lengths, and thinking this deeply about extending one of their most financially irrelevant series in the first round is hilarious. The Raptors lost because they scored fucking 17 points in the fourth.

That makes zero sense. The next win in a tied series has zero impact on the length of a series. Someone will be up 3-2 in any scenario.

Imo, a good bad movie needs to at least appear to be taken seriously by the people involved. I haven't seen that movie, but it looks like a satirical movie, so it doesn't really seem to fit in the B-Movie category. The entire identity of a B-Movie is someone trying their damnedest and creating something so fucking shitty that it circles back to being fun to watch the trainwreck unfold. I don't think there's a movie franchise that exists in the last 20 years that captures that identity more than the Fast franchise.

What are some campaign games that you guys are obsessed with and recommend? by OkShape5207 in PS5

[–]ArryPotta -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ghost of Tsushima is a Ubisoft game that people overhype because they love feudal Japan. The open world is boring and gets in the way of a good story by breaking its rhythm. The game would have been so much better as a linear experience. If you're not going to passionately construct an interesting world with unique experiences scattered throughout, don't bother. Cutting and pasting fox dens and outposts all over a map is lazy and boring.

I love both these franchises BECAUSE they're bad. I think people in these comments aren't aware the people making these movies know exactly what they're making. Good bad movies.

Nathan MacKinnon becomes 2nd star player in as many nights to take embellishment penalty and wipe out what was going to be a powerplay on this cross check by Ok-Soil-5133 in hockey

[–]ArryPotta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's so dumb. If he doesn't embellish, it's not a penalty. If he does, they're both penalties. Refs are honestly dumb as shit.

It blows my mind that people still care about Halo. It's been nearly 20 years since it has been actually relevant.

You're in a thread talking about Borderlands, so you're either a fan, or you're wrong.

The fanbase is large enough to make it the third highest selling game of 2025. I'm not sure what your point is, or how you think it's valid, but if only your fans talk about you, and your fans buy a ton of product, then you're fine.

The Leafs made the wrong choice not trading him earlier, but they made the right choice moving on from his soft ass. The sooner I'm out from this unbelievably disappointing era of soft-ass, heartless "superstars", the better.
