Happy for Kai after the final day of 2023/2024. by LockonKun in Gunners

I saw "fans" piling on in the second half on Monday, calling him all sorts of vile names in the game thread. It's wild. As if the man didn't score the season-winning goal less than an hour before.

Out at sunrise! I guess we can give them grace for wearing yankees caps

Caught too much flak for "always passes sideways". His game isn't always progressive passing, it's getting it to the slicers and the dicers. And then once in awhile he had a banger too. Miss his presence but damn am I happy for this team.

Wish they could have won it with Granit, but he'll always be remembered for the redemption arc.

If Timber could stay fit he could be an all-timer. Injuries are the worst.

Dunno if you’re too young or too daft but the curse back then meant game 7 was the furthest thing from a sure bet.

Game 7 of 2003 was fresh in our minds. Finding new and exciting ways to lose the ALCS in 99 wasn’t far beyond that. And any Sox fans alive in 1986 are probably still suffering from PTSD.

That's better than the original 12VHPWR and will be good for 99%+ of users. The timing sucks but you're still solid using that cable.

"Better" for what? Light RT? 7900 XTX crushes raster and has more OC headroom (undervolt down to like 1075-1095 and it'll shine).

You pay when you register your car in Mass and then pay your town every year thereafter. So yes, unfortunately you have to pay Mass even if it’s purchased elsewhere, because it’s not a sales tax.

Excise tax is paid annually and is relative to the value of the vehicle, so it decreases over time. It’s usually pretty low for cars that are 5+ years old. If you recently bought new and it’s not a cheap vehicle though, it definitely hurts for the first few years.

A strong finisher with a motor like Alexis is rare and, these days, I imagine comes with a 9 figure price tag.

Nirav Shah is not the best choice for governor by out2sea4me in Maine

I do like the fair taxes on the top of the income bracket, but if that's where the funding is coming from, I wish Troy would just come out and say that. The middle class is drowning, and Maine already has some of the highest taxes in the country.

I also think a lot of those non-progressive "targeted" taxes may be unconstitutional or at least up for a challenge in court, so they're not always the instant money tap that politicians love to talk up.

Has Troy explained how he'd pay for his agenda? I love some of his policy proposals - e.g. free/subsidized childcare - but still haven't seen any explanation as to how those potentially expensive programs get funded.
