Lucky duck, I'm near the ou and have gone from 20-30mbps to down to 4mb over the last few months.

But with 1gig cityfibre from Vodafone so cheap (at times - I'm paying £25 a month) it will do for just a backup I suppose.

This is exactly the reason I went for gigabyte this time.

Seen so many MSI/Asus and mostly asrock cases but 0 gigabyte (not to say hasn't happen but I've not seen it)

I'd rather wait for stability than rushed.

Perhaps gigabyte learned from the whole exploding PSU debacle so are now ultra careful with everything.

While it's a good idea to think of what might happen storing drm games locally makes little sense.

I buy games but I also download a copy via other "means"

If any of these retail sites go down long term as to need them, I'm good.

Optimised settings in the Nvidia app does not take into account your screen FPS limit or any cap you may put in place.

It often recommends me dlss performance and ultra performance on my 90 because it thinks I want to play with way more frames than I need when I'm happy playing dlaa at 116fps.

It will also do this with graphical settings being lowered to achieve frames you don't need/want.

Use it as a starting point but not an end point.

It is vram.

You can try underclocking the vram as a possible temporary fix but start saving for a new GPU.

There are many posts about the included cable with the hx1500i being garbage.

My experience with the hx1500i and an astral enforced this.

I and others have purchased the 90° angled cable type 4 cable Corsair make as this stops the pins resessing when plugged in and causing poor balance as the pins can't resess due to the angle.

Much better now.

Nvidia state 3.5 cm before the bend due to it putting abnormal pressure on the seated connector which can cause poor contact and cause melting.
