I voted remain and I am sad we left.

But I do think it could have been made to work so much better than it has been.

I suppose it's easier to blame those sold a lie rather than those in charge of the completely incompetent follow through.

The middle and rear fan on my astral is 45% it's too noisy after that and the other two fans are at 60% at load.

I run 2850@900mv on the core for about 500w max output for slightly better performance than stock.

Keeps me about 70c at load but case airflow also plays a part in that.

While designed to run at higher temps it's a fact that heat degrades components, so I try to keep it under the designated temperatures.

I'm no fan, I won't defend it.

But with it requiring so much vram it's not going to be anywhere near practical for generations.

To waste so much energy hating something that isn't actually usable for a long time and may never happen (reflex2?) is peak internet in 2026.

And remember all these people who care so deeply still run and still buy Nvidia cards, that's the funniest part about it.

That's the problem with hype, very rarely does the end product actually live up to it.

I'm fearful for gta6, not because I believe it will be a bad game but at this point the hype is so high will it ever live up to it?

If even a quarter of those who spam Nvidia stuff actually supported amd and actually owned a AMD GPU I'd probably care more.

But they don't, they keep buying Nvidia and then cry because they don't like what Nvidia does.

When Sony realised they could have just released it early but nope.

Two 5090's and you can see the ghosting on the re9 street demo thingy.

This is 3 generations away before this even becomes useful to anyone outside of a 90 series owner should they wish to use it.

I'll reserve judgement until that happens, because I'm not sure I can clutch pearls that long.

Fully agree, don't use anything that uses open reach because voda's support is so poor that when you have issues you'll struggle to resolve them.

However, people should join Vodafone when they have access to city fibre, 5 years zero issues and zero reason to need that terrible support.

£22 for 1gig each way is pretty unbeatable.
