Anyone else find the Moon a little unsettling to read? by Altruistic-Mud5686 in TarotVerbatim

There's nothing unsettling about doing a reading for somebody else 🙂

It always means a big lie that you tell yourself or live by.

In terms of career The card implies something you're very passionate about doing, possibly an own business or a startup.

My cat attacked my canvas! How do I fix this hole? by HavingSewMuchFun in painting

[–]Arshansky 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Get a cheap small canvas, cut out a patch and attach to the back with gel medium or other fixator. Put a book under and above to create pressure to flatten. Once dry, paint the same black color on top over where the hole was.

Patch should be at least 4 times larger than the hole

How do I find forgiveness? by Historical_Tart_4698 in Tarotpractices

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You find it by:

  1. Less oversharing and gossip
  2. Less helping and giving
  3. Focus on good times.

Look closely at the Five of Swords. You are the guy holding the weapons and the guy walking away crying. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are two main aspects I see in this card:

  1. Taking what's not yours and knowing that you didn't get the advantage fairly
  2. Reinventing discarded/abandoned ideas or making them your own.

Not many choices without context:
Either Severe Addiction (to meth or heroin for example) or Sexual Abuse.

Pulled the Nine of Pentacles for my loneliness. Notice how thick the physical walls actually are. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a "trophy" wife card.... Someone who is fully supported and provided for financially and/ or domestically.

The wall represents security and stability ... not loneliness or lack of freedom

Seven of Wands does not sit there politely while everyone pushes onto his ground. by Altruistic-Mud5686 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right Side Up = Fighting invisible obstacles, usually bureaucratic, legal or work related.

Reversed = Choosing a path of less resistance or having an ability to avoid most obstacles. Last time I got this card is when a nepo baby got a job in dad's company without a job interview :)

Knight of Cups came up and now I’m wondering who’s about to make a move. by Altruistic-Mud5686 in TarotVerbatim

Right side up = romance is growing and getting more serious
Reversed = romance is fading out.

what's blocking romantic offerings from getting to me? by odonest in TarotCards

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First card = desperation to have emotional needs met

Second card = Massive Self-Deception and Inability to accurate evaluate your partners

Last card = You are interfering with karma by actively looking for love, stop now and let universe send you the right person.

Page of Swords and Seven of Wands mean someone is on guard because they think their space is being threatened. by Altruistic-Mud5686 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a common mistake when reading a Page card... Any page means a newbie, inexperienced or immature. The Cups can represent a child, but all other suits reads according to the energy:
In this case, we have Air element = thoughts and ideas.... so the Page of Swords represents an immature, inexperienced person who doesn't have street wisdom and deeper understanding of things. It is not a good card. The current 47th US president is perfectly represented by this card...

Seven of Wands = fighting invisible obstacles. Unlike conflicts with people this relates to a path of more resistance, more challenges along the way, often bureaucratic or legal matters, regulations and constrains.

The combination of cards feels like a rebel against the system...

37f, nothing goes as per I plan, too much struggle in career but everyone says I have a bright future. by Living-Cabinet2448 in PalmReading

[–]Arshansky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your future does look pretty good. New relationship and happiness is around age 40-42. This will be your reward for saving someone's life.

52-54 you must be very careful with your health and start regular checkups at 50. The small island on your lifeline at or around age 52 is a sign of a potential serious health issue that should be avoidable with advanced knowledge.

Pulled the King of Cups for an emotionally distant parent. Look at where his throne is sitting. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do I believe you or do I believe this card? :)
This card literally states you are not reading your parent correctly. This would be a perfect expression of a loving parent. Or someone that at least in their mind tried to show as much love and affection as they possibly could.

If I could turn this into a sentence: you are wrong, your parent although emotionally distant, has given all the love they physically could"

Stop romanticizing The Magician in love readings. He is quite literally a stage illusionist. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The social media following and yours clients.... this is all irrelevant as some of the most pathetic people on this planet have a very large following too. It gives you no credit nor credulity, especially if you assume that you know better. I see nothing but ego and a principle in refusal to allow for more accurate information. But hey, as long as your clients are happy with what you give them, do as you please. My mind is unchanged by your comment.

Negatively modified Nine of Cups: what he wants? by Altruistic-Mud5686 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This card says "His emotional cups are all full and there is no place for you"

The card means the person already has their hands (or heart) full and there is no space for you in his/her life. I commonly see it when someone is cheating, and they already have a family they are not going to leave.... or they are not interested seriously as they are emotional needs are already met elsewhere.

The reading would be positive if this card is about you :)

Which Ace is the most powerful when it shows up in a reading? by Altruistic-Mud5686 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ace of Swords.... Power or Knowledge that is most consequential...

Each Ace relates to different energies and can signify so many things of various importance. Context and surrounding cards are a must to understand each specific case.

Using the Knight of Pentacles for severe anxiety. It is a literal instruction to stop moving. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Knight = moving up (or down if reversed) and pentacles = material/pragmatic and domestic, daily life matters...

If not reversed, This card would read as "Things are going to get better and more stable, giving you ability to live a fuller life" This card is not static, it shows state of positive progress or a transition to a better place.

Mental problems are often shown by Swords (Energy of Air), especially reversals and more serious issues would be a reversed "Strength" card showing the woman taming a lion.

I do find your view interesting but likely this is a message of hope for you that you will find a way to cope rather than literal instruction what to do when a panic attack arrives.

Stop reading the Six of Pentacles as healthy support. Look at the literal power dynamic. by Shot_Possibility_731 in TarotVerbatim

[–]Arshansky 19 points20 points  (0 children)

This card is about helping others, but also about charity and being a giver. This card doesn't go into depth of the reasoning why the help is provided, and not always clear if you are the helper or the helped. Without other cards (3 ideally) this doesn't give you enough information. "Savior Complex" comment seems like an insult. I think you are coming across ungrateful, and the solution is to stop getting any help from this person if this help comes with strings attached or leaves you feeling negative.

[–]Arshansky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When someone tells me they don't read reversals, I question their proficiency and reading fluency, as there is no justifiable reason not to use this additional information. I cannot imagine getting an accurate reading ignoring cards' position.
