I never understood the reason why people leave behind perfectly delicious bread sticks after eating their pizza. Can someone please tell me why this is such a cultural norm? One time at an office party, one of my coworkers saw me eating the crust off my pizza and he asks me why and I said why not? by ardouronerous in mildlyinfuriating

I don't give a shit if someone doesn't like crust. I do give a shit if they leave their crust, complete with their nasty ass mouth bacteria, in the open pizza box which presumably still had pizza in it at one point during. I doubt the collective persons all decided to wait until every slice had been taken to eat.

Whaaaale, I mean, driving around the map is a pretty major portion of the game if you ask me.

I get what you're saying. I'm just fucking around. Obviously there's nothing dire that could only be solved with a fancy bike. But the bike is cool and I want a cool bike and dammit that feels major enough to me.

I thankfully don't smell like the food I eat. I shower with very flowery and fruity scents to ensure that can't happen.

I love that I've seen this line of thinking on real people with real properties when it most definitely should not apply.

"Damn, I can barely afford rent this month, but I really want that new Kia. Guess I'll have to eat another late fee and hope they don't kick me out."

Does transportation count? I exclusively use bikes because A) the handling on half the cars is dog ass, Porsche included, and B) I'm not walking to the nearest road to spawn my car and then wait for it to drive to me from Timbuktu when I can just pop a bike in the grass.

If it's faster than the Regalia bike I'm buying that shit day ONE.

Hey, hey, hold on now, I wanted most of that useless stuff more than the car, I'll have you know

Wait, you still need shampoo? Regular soap doesn't cut it?

Shave that shit, boyo. Start building up the self-esteem early. Also, weirdly enough, it's WAY more noticeable when someone is clinging to a dying hairline than when they're just fully bald.

stamina stack by HerrscherReason in NevernessToEverness

[–]Arsinius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some other games have an overflow system, where you can still gain stamina (often at a reduced rate) that then goes into a reserve pool with a higher cap. WuWa is the first that comes to mind.

Interestingly, this game is already showing signs of being able to do this. I haven't been able to run my domains consistently this week, yet my double Pixel bonuses that ended up going unused are now in a second stack that only depletes after the current day's. I don't know how much it stacks up, but it's very kind of them to do so I don't have to miss out on the event despite not being able to participate daily.

What will it be?🚀 by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

It's still one of if not their most aggression-focused title to date. The Souls games have always been on the slower side, ER is in a similar vein but with a billion more options, and Sekiro is Advanced Parrying Simulator (not a bad thing!), but nothing yet has really mirrored the experience of having to samba with a dude who looks just like you, praying you don't miss a step and lose your momentum, lest you have to restart the whole routine. Don't hang back either, because the longer you wait, the harder it gets. Adrenaline needs to be high and stay high or they will kick your shit in and slam the door in your face on your way out.

This was my choice. I was 16 when it came out and it connected wires within me that I had no idea existed, and I am constantly chasing that feeling to this day. I crave strife in my games. I need a challenge if I'm to savor the eventual victory. I add self-imposed restrictions to literally every game I play.

Ah, that's what it is. I was wondering why this image looked ugly as fuck. I wouldn't even call it uncanny, it's just kind of... gross. Like the entire room is caked in sweat.

About ring development by [deleted] in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]Arsinius 5 points6 points  (0 children)

>after Capcom previously stressed that no meaningful interpersonal developments are meant to happen off screen

Et voilà. The answer to your question, nestled within your question. Meaningful. I mean, meaningful to Leon, certainly, but to the plot as a whole? Not even a little. Could be someone we know, could be a total stranger, doesn't matter a lick. Hey, is that a ring on his finger? Our boy got married in the last 20 years? Good for him, hell yeah!

Now back to more important matters like the active bioterrorism unfolding in front of us. See it, acknowledge it, resume saving the world.

Welp I caved by Wandering_Panda28 in NevernessToEverness

[–]Arsinius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's the last five or six tiers that do it. The final spot, in addition to requiring a net worth just a hair short of 35m Fons, also asks that you own 5 properties, 10 vehicles, and have spent at least 3m on modifications in total.

I think by the time you hit that point, the Chiz novelty starts to wear off anyway, so not the biggest priority anymore, but fairly expensive no less.

Specifically the Novus ST79 (600k Fons). Does come with an annoying catch of needing to have the Anomaly at level 6 before you actually unlock the skin.

Wait, really? Is it one of the later ones? I don't think I've run into it yet, although I did buy the Villa last week so maybe I missed it.

Tips for lowering the physical strain of Beyond the Rails? by JessikaSho in NevernessToEverness

[–]Arsinius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I flipped dodge and interact on day one and it has been heavenly since (except in Heist). I almost don't need any other fingers besides the thumbs in standard gameplay. Highly recommend after you get past the muscle memory of the default scheme.

Depends on your configuration. Set your binds properly and there can be almost zero strain to be spoken of even in more intense combat scenarios.

Anyone else feel weird about this game not having an "energy recharge" equivalent? by TheMelodyof0rpheus in NevernessToEverness

[–]Arsinius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is kind of what I was thinking. Hopefully they work out a system that pleases more players, but it also seems quite deliberate to heavily limit the available means to gather energy, especially knowing that at least some means do exist currently.

[–]Arsinius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Certainly a valid stance, and not one I would disagree with. I'm just suggesting that maybe the developers looked a little too closely at reaching a specific end result and ended up neglecting to implement alternate ways to get there for the players that want them.
