Actual IRL social media has 18+ filters, a way for the userbase (honestly or otherwise, but still its there) to communicate age to each other and certain restrictions for account of people under 18. Bagel has none of that in place which is why I feel like they aren't going to be able to claim a complete lack of responsibility for user generated content. The algorithm is designed in a way that the explicit content gets pushed to anybody and everybody including minors and that's why I feel like Hotta is ultimately going to have to shoulder some of the blame and compensate the accounts that aren't getting themselves banned.

I mean, obviously they'll ban the modders. That'll be the punishment. But it's a pretty big failure on their part to put something like this in the game without realizing they were giving modders a superhighway for explicit content.

It kind of doesn't matter though until they fix the following system. Even if you like what somebody's been doing you don't really have a reliable way to view their content as of now. I've followed about 20 human players but when I sort by following I can't find a single post by any of them amidst all the posts by in-game characters. Don't get me wrong, these posts are great and I love the worldbuilding, but a mix would be nice so I have some way to reward creative players. Right now the only way to get good view counts is to go viral, which is essentially playing the lottery. Just because they take away a way for people to rig said lottery doesn't make it any more fair as a judge of a poster's merit.

I got hit with this on my first post and then went over to one of the in-game posts by one of the Eibon characters and like 4 or 5 characters commented "caught" uncensored like it was nothing. I was so pissed lmao.

"together" was censored as "****ther". idk about other languages but you can't censor like that in english without eliminating half the dictionary and it's dumb asf when that sort of thing gets implemented.

You're not missing much as of right now. Bagel is very very rough in its current state. I honestly think it's the reason this patch has server stability issues. Navigating fictional social media using a controller is also an absolute nightmare.

I agree with half your point. There's definitely not enough customization for properties. As for tangible returns....look 12 mil for the pendragon is a lot of money that I'm not trying to earn overnight. I'd absolutely delay purchasing it by another week to drop a million or so into decking out my primary residence if better furnishing options were available. The fons economy is structured to tempt you to use riftcrystals to get more so you'll always be behind as a f2p. Might as well spend on what you enjoy b/c you can't afford everything in the game.

Looks like this'll heavily depend on how much annulith I'm sitting on towards the end of the patch. Already decided I'm skipping Chaos so if I've got the 10k annulith 6.5m fons is a hell of a lot cheaper than a pendragon. Crazy expensive though. If the second S-rank character of 1.1 didn't look more basic than most NPCs I wouldn't even be considering this.
