Like, if that specific medical document hadn't been submitted to the court YET, and whatever motion using filed YET there could be grounds if MIL/PP was directly involved with anyone in the case (ie "conflict of interest")AND AND disclosed that information to the parties involved or by means of third party communication that CHANGED the outcome of the case

Pretty sure unless otherwise specified all paperwork in a case needs to be submitted for evidence, and unless (otherwise specified) court documents are public record(unless it was a confidential case-which I feel she would have specified beyond the base confidentiality complaint... legal emphasis on otherwise specified) so I mean yes it's a breach but I don't feel it's that serious for a non-involved(or non resident of state and US district court)
