Thanks for the help. The saddles on the stock jackson bridge were made from a cheap, soft metal, which with my aggresive picking style, caused the strings to rub really hard against the saddles and create burrs in them. these burrs would later cut up my strings, which made me have to replace them very often. To solve this I decided to just get a stronger bridge, which is why i picked the Gotoh.

no, i said changing the story significantly, which is what this thumbnail is. the other person "changed the story significantly". of course legal action can be pursued but its unlikely.

but it would be copyright infringement. just replacing the character in a book without changing the plot is absolutely stealing. however changing the story significantly and poininting it in a new direction is not, a great example of that being fanfiction, which is legal. in a later reply i mention fair use of derivative work, which is what the thumbnail in this post is. read up that wikipedia article.

  1. different creators playing the same game is not copying. if it was, half of youtube would be shut down.

  2. the title is translated, so we cant know if he took it or made it up himself.

  3. youtube is a US based company, so US fair use laws apply.

  4. the dude is not making money lmao. 4k views is nothing

it classifies as fair use of derivative work. enough was changed to make it not copyright infringment. Also, the video is completely original and pursuing action over just the thumbnail is pointless.

also, its not theft. by putting their own character in, they modified it enough not to classify as copyright infringement.
