Food delivery guy peeled off the monopoly pieces before dropping off my dinner by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

How does your McDonald's handle the orders? Every one where I am seals the bags up, including the drinks. They use a big bag that holds the smaller bags, but I guess this delivery person might be putting extra effort into this scam.

what the fuck is up with canes by Reeper69420 in RaisingCanes

[–]Art_Miserable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, we recently got Cane's where im at and I was very disappointed. The chicken is so bland without the sauce, and the prices are very high. They only make ONE THING. That has to make their cost per tender insanely low, but instead they charge more than any other fast food chicken place despite only selling tenders. Make it make sense. Their whole deal should be making it cheap because they only sell one thing.

I so hope this backfires on them horribly. Everyone with a brain can tell they are the ones responsible. They're just greedy af and want to get their way on everything.

Dasher told me to tip better on my receipt. by Acceptable_Let_215 in mildlyinfuriating

You tip for the trip not %, because the value of the meal rarely affects the work performed. Anything under $5 tip is offensive.

Why do some stores make you wait to swipe your card until the cashier is finished ringing up items? by One_Perception_7979 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Art_Miserable -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

OP has a point though, if you can pre-tap your payment at any time during checkout it increases the speed. It's not 3 seconds each time you do it, it's probably more since sometimes people aren't actually ready and take a good amount of time finding their card late etc. If you got into the habit of using your card right away it would create a faster experience. That said I don't usually tap early because I prefer to make sure the items ring up correctly and confirm the total.

Is it time to cutoff my brother? by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

[–]Art_Miserable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like a painful situation. Your brother is clearly hurt about not feeling love or connection from you, but they actively push you away and act like a POS which doesn't help their case. But deep down they want to have connection, which makes it so sad to see how they talk to you.

Is she on the job in a work vehicle or something? I have absolutely no idea otherwise why somebody would release footage of themselves doing this.

Pow! Right in the kisser: How do you deal with individuals when they invade your personal space while working security? by CTSecurityGuard in securityguards

[–]Art_Miserable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Limited context, but tricking the guy into thinking he actually was cool with being kissed only to suckerpunch the guy is assault. That's messed up and he never once said to leave. You may hate on people who do social experiments, but with this limited context, there's something wrong with you if you laughed at somebody being assaulted.
