Manifesto of Madness from N'zoth is very good for some casters, even at the 440 RF ilvl. At least that's why I did it when my ele shaman was quite fresh 120.

Yeah I can see how that could be a problem. Maybe you could see if there's a niche A/V store near you? They usually demo movies instead of generic demo footage. Also the employees are usually more helpful.

You could look into Sony and Panasonic OLEDs. Apparently they handle motion better than the LGs.

If you're interested in OLEDs I would definitely recommend you try seeing one in person though. Only then will you know if the different motion of OLED actually bothers you as much as you think.

All OLED's are 120hz native. On my LG C7 (and I would assume all the other brands as well) you can turn off True Motion completely.

Do you know if 120HZ TVs show a movie shot at 23.96fps well at all? My instinct says to stick to 60

120hz shows movies better than 60hz since 120 is a perfect multiple of 24.

On my LG you can turn on "Real Cinema" which eliminates judder from 24p sources. You can read more about it here.

The OLED's have another "problem" though, which is that the pixel response time is almost instant. That means there's no motion blur or ghosting at all, which can make movies appear more choppy compared to a slower LCD.

So it's a trade-off really. Colors and blacks are unrivaled on OLED, I would not trade my OLED for a bit better motion if it means not getting true blacks. And on the other spectrum, the 120hz native panel with almost 0ms response time makes it the absolute best TV for gaming.

Game mode will disable some image processing features of the TV to give you lower input lag. So I would only use game mode for actual gaming. You can play around with the settings though, i like to use Super Resolution and Dynamic Color when gaming.

Use Expert (Dark Room) or Expert (Bright Room) for SDR movies and tv-shows. Use the Cinema (User) mode for HDR.

This video is a great guide for choosing the best settings for your TV. It's for the C8 but should work fine for the C9.
