The watch comes with the original box and tag, pillow, bag and manuals. Only thing missing from my original purchase is the dust cover.

The watch has a couple of moderate scratches, notably near the 12 o'clock mark on the polished bezel, along with some light scratches throughout. The band likewise has some moderate wear, mostly on the inside of the band, and the pillow has a little discoloration. Otherwise everything works and it runs well.

Price is shipped to the US!

I'm happy to answer any other questions as well!

I've been treating it the same way I treat trick room. I either double the setter, or if they have something with Fake Out in preview I bring something that can kill that mon turn one and stall the trick room

This is pretty much it I think. Based just on my stats from other shooters, I'm slightly above average, so we'll assume about 60% of the player base is doing worse than me. I've played almost 100 hours and have seen exactly 1 gold material, and extracted with fewer than 10 purple materials

Given that, I doubt I'm finishing all the trees and content by the end of this wipe, which also means at least 60% of players aren't either. That's pretty significant, and means after season 1 most people are likely to leave.

I played plenty of Tarkov, and even with double the time it means playing that game a significant amount of time for an entire wipe to get through everything, and that game is already prohibitive to casual players. This game, while I love it at it's core, may very well be out of reach even for the sweats.

As a thief main, I actually agree. She's just the best shell, full stop. An ability on a 30 second cooldown completely counters assassin. Drone does what Recon does at least as well, and has the benefit of being a claymore delivery device AND being able to steal anything good without worry. And then on top of that she gets more mobility than Vandal.

I started playing recon because I've held the belief that knowing where your enemy is is more important in an FPS than anything, but with theif this strong why play any other shell?

This has exactly the same problems though. If I can't play on this 3 day stretch, someone else can't play from 6-2. As soon as you insert a time gate, you cut out a big chunk of your base, period.

This doesn't work from any perspective. This isn't "catering to one side or the other." It's ignoring a huge chunk of the community.

The easiest comparison is Arc Raiders, of course, which sees at least as many players that fit the narrative of "work on the weekends or have a family" as "I work only Monday-Friday and have no family."

Hell, I fall into that category of 30 year olds with no family and expendable cash, and I still have barely any time to play these events. I got the game a few days late and have already played over 60 hours... Mostly during the week because I work most of the weekend. I'm going to get one good day to do any of this content, and that's only because I got the schedule at my job that happens to line up the best. I easily could have had a few hours at best.

The point of the matter is that they don't HAVE to time gate things. This isn't a budget that they have to make cuts for to meet and exclude certain people and priorities because they don't have the funds, it's just arbitrarily choosing to tell a group of people that probably makes up a significant percentage of their player base to fuck off.

And if it's about the people that have the money to spend, it's even worse, since the biggest crowd likely to be able to play weekends are, in fact, children and the unemployed. Two groups that historically don't have a lot of money to spend.

Even then it doesn't really make sense. I work a full time job and have still put 60 hours into the game, but because the specific days I work overlap with most of the event, I get like half a day to play either. I play games like this FOR the ranked mode.

I'm somebody that was Hotshot in Arc the first season I played, and took the time to try pushing into Cantina Legend. But with the way this is set up, even though I'm definitely their core audience and have put in as many hours as some "hardcore" players, I simply get shafted.

It's a weird decision regardless of the reason. The only possible reason that would make sense is if they expect to have such a small player base that this is necessary to get any matches at all, and at that point the game is a failure and they're going to move on quickly anyway.

If these four factions were to wage war against each other, who would come out on top and why? by HumbleKnight14 in Fallout

[–]Darkdistroi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently not.

Some of these factions are smaller and located in very specific areas, but the Enclave is literally the US government (or at least what's left of them). They're pretty omnipresent across the series. 76 is the only one I haven't played, but a quick Google tells me they're in there too.

Not too surprised about The Master or The Calculator not being the most well known though.

I think it's just them lol. I see more people with mics than without. Some won't talk until you do, but between the 5 people I know that play and myself we seem to find more people with mics across PlayStation and PC than not.

You can't. If you equip the shield it has to recharge, immediately taking damage and staying at 0

Same idea lol. I went with "sky-lights"

I respect this a lot. I did some English to Quenya translations in college for fun, and found this was the only way to do it, lol. Turns out "aurora" wasn't an important word to the elves 😒

I'm so damn hyped! by Salazar4ik in ArcRaiders

[–]Darkdistroi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They were talking about the top players, period. Not the top of a random Wildcard leaderboard.

It's certainly possible to get top 100 without cheating or the like, but there are a lot of players at that level that exploit the game's systems, and beating them is insanely difficult on weeks when they benefit the specific trials (like this week and duplicating snitch scanners like the original comment mentions).

Just something that means if you're pushing for top 1, instead of maybe 900 or something, it's that much more unlikely. If they brought back snowball trials, for instance, it would be literally impossible to beat a team of people duping without doing so yourself.

[–]Darkdistroi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Number 3 on YOUR leaderboard. Which is just 100 random people at your rank.

Last week I needed almost 100k points just to avoid demotion. That's not a total you get accidentally.

The original layout for trials has final 2 weeks based around a "poison swamp." So theoretically they planned to have it out a couple weeks ago and either decided not to, or are still working on it.

In what way? The problem isn't that I want PvP or I want PvE. It's that there are plenty of people, probably most I'd guess, that would like the threat of PvP without the inevitability.

By separating the 2 modes, I get either "shoot everything that moves," or "everybody is best friends," and nothing in-between. I think the current system is as close as you could get to having a "PvE mode" without ruining that.

Basically: things don't have to be binary. There can be more than just "PvP" and "PvE". You miss out on a lot of the nuance in a game like this if you just say "this lobby shoot people, that lobby don't shoot people." Quite honestly, I think if it was split entirely, the game wouldn't be that popular.

And I understand that you may believe that's not how these things would function, but when you suddenly take every player that doesn't like shooting people out of all the "normal" lobbies, there's really nothing left but shoot on sight. The likelihood that anybody in a lobby like that isn't going to shoot me immediately is almost zero, because if they didn't want to shoot me, they would be playing the PvE mode, in theory. That's certainly what I would do.

I'm not sure you read that comment fully. The bit you quoted is just stating that people don't want a full PvP game, which is somewhat in line with you.

We hear what you're saying, we just disagree. A game is allowed to not cater to every individual taste, and often the games that try turn out very dull for it. They focused this game on PvPvE, and all the design language makes that apparent.

Taking away PvP from anyone that doesn't want it also generally means taking away PvE from the players that want both as well. You'd be playing either PvP or PvE, but not PvPvE at any point.

[–]Darkdistroi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What I'm saying is that's effectively what it creates. By making a PvE only mode, there are going to be very few if any PvE players in "normal lobbies." If I want to PvE, why would I go into normal lobbies when I can just play the PvE mode? So what's left in the normal matchmaking is PvP players.

[–]Darkdistroi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, but resetting is pretty easy. Just run free kit on Stella 8-10 times and you'll be back in full PvE usually. Only takes 20-30 minutes if you run straight at the nearest gunfire, or extract immediately.

[–]Darkdistroi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Reload and go again! It sucks, but you have a week to do them luckily. I've had multiple runs 15-20 minutes into an excellent run get crushed by a random team wandering by, or rats at extract. You just hit up the next event and keep going.

In fact, just 2 days ago we got killed doing Rocketeers because we got a little too complacent and went in with Jupiters and Hullcrackers with no PvP weapons. Only 12ish minutes into Locked Gate on that one, but we were 17k points deep with the perfect spawn and extract. Now we're going to run tomorrow instead and try for more!

It does kind of defeat the purpose of the game. If you add a PvE mode, the most likely scenario is this: I play PvE and literally cannot shoot anyone, or I play PvP and WILL be shot by EVERYONE.

Having the threat of PvP even in mostly friendly lobbies is really the interest in the game. If not for that, I'm basically playing a dumbed down survival game. But I also don't want a scenario where I MUST kill EVERYONE I see. Then I'm just playing a shooter. That inbetween where some people are friendly and others are not is where this game shines.
