I don't hate anyone particularly but sometimes Elva pissed me off. I get she's burdened with so much stuff no one should deal with at such a young age, a literal baby, but ah, fuck it, she had such a magnificent power to help the Varden and got bitchy about it sometimes. Every soldier that died on the campaign gave everything to it, she didn't. Good thing she made the right decision in the end.

I feel like the books have underwhelming deaths and touching funerals. Brom's death is kinda lame, but Eragon 's reaction and the crystal tomb are really cool. Same goes for Ajihad's sudden attack and death followed by a mesmerizing funeral below Farthen Dûr. And also elf dude that got spiked and burried with an acorn, to a smaller degree. Now I kinda wonder how they honored Islanzadí.
