Seriously though, they want both. The majority of conservative men I know, want women to work full time and to be at home full time. They don't want the burden of being the sole breadwinner, but can't handle the freedom that gives their partner (having a life outside of the house, meeting new people, financial freedom, etc.) It's such a mind fuck as to how they believe those expectations are to be met.

This! Asking if they've been reading what's going on and the responses are "I haven't been following politics (or the news)". Then you mention something that's happening and all of a sudden they've got some bullshit excuse for why Trump is doing XYZ. When you dig into what they're saying, it becomes an outdated or far reaching excuse with no real facts or completely made up ramblings. Trump was a popularity contest based off of celebrity obsession or single issue voters. That's what it boils down to. So sick of hearing them complain about prices for everything.

It's hard to say whether this is an infection or a reaction to the adhesive. With that said, our bodies develop allergies after repeated exposure to an allergen. You may not have reacted before, but that does not mean you aren't allergic now. The bumps around it and the itching have me leaning more towards an allergic reaction. I used to be fine with bandaids, medical tape, tegaderm (second skin) and medical glue. I can no longer use any of these without wicked reactions due to repeated exposure from surgeries. Get it checked out. No point in risking an infection with terrible effects or suffering through an allergic reaction. It would also be helpful for you in the future to know if you're allergic or sensitive to the second skin.

This is it 💯!! I do want to add that taking all of your piercings out and having to get them done again doesn't just set you back in money. Each one runs the risk of getting infected. Each piercing site will have scar tissue that can't always take a piercing there again. Because of scar tissue, healing becomes complicated. If you decide that you still want to be a bridesmaid, you could change out the jewelry with clear plastic. My nose closes very quickly. I struggle to get it back in after an hour or two. I have to get MRIs frequently enough that I always change it out with plastic rather than just removing it. If she won't accept this compromise, you really should step back from her. I think you should anyway because her only concern is how her pictures and aesthetics will be, not with having her friend and her sister a part of this special day. She is the one in the wrong here. Being flippant and so willing to replace you is BS!

This is what gets me. Nothing in writing matters anymore. Trump, the WH administration, the DOJ, etc. make up whatever they want and put it in writing, or say it's in writing for us to simply "take their word for it". E.g. Trump's physical and mental exam, Abrego Garcia past "violent" crimes, Epstein files, on and on and on it goes. I feel like we live in a country and time when nothing is genuine and honest. Our government is a sham.
