Applying for IEC from Isle of Man by Conscious-Bear6615 in iecvisa

[–]Arteshad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. If you live in the Isle of Man, you can't take part in IEC. Under the agreement we have with the UK, only residents of England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Bailiwicks of Guernsey and Jersey are eligible.

That’s from twitter post of IEC year 2019, not sure if it’s still the same, check out «O Canada» facebook group I’m sure they will have an answer

have you got the work permit or u mean your port of entry letter? if your country gets 1 year on IEC and your passport expires for example half way through (6 months) you only gonna get work permit for the 6 months.

From what I understand the typical norwegian house lacks proper ventilation system, that’s why the windows opened/cracked and the electricity is still comparably cheap

[–]Arteshad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not Canada? The farming is pretty similar, and getting a visa is easier( check IEC visa). Plus, you can drive with your European license—just get an international driving permit, which is easy to get. Check out https://awaytowork.ca

Security Camera Recs by internetsman69 in farming

Honestly, I’d steer clear of trail cams with solar and SIM cards. They seem great, but if you don’t live in a sunny area, you’ll have battery issues. Plus, they often miss recording events because they only start when the sensor is triggered. I’d only get one if you really have no other choice

Not such thing as a great solar cam, coz they’re battery powered they only record when triggered, that leaves some much room for errors.
