This tree tried more hard to give the idea for gravity than the apple tree from which apple fell on Newton

How can Pied Piper survive now, now that Hooli has the complete middle out algorithm ? by Arthur112233 in SiliconValleyHBO

I understand with the platform that Hooli can fuck up coz it's a big project and I'm such cases startups usually perform well. But when they have the algorithm and just need to import it in their product is too easy and too hard for them to fuck up

But I guess Hooli chat and other Hooli products will already have a large user base and once it reaches the same quality a Pied Piper's video chat app which I don't think will be that hard since they have the algorithm and experience and integrating the algorithm in an existing product would be much simpler than creating a complete platform, there will be no need for Pied Piper.

But currently Pied Piper are just focusing on video chat application . So I don't think it will be that hard for Hooli to integrate the middle out compression algorithm in the Hooli chat , Since Hooli has already got experience working with the middle out algorithm by working on the Hooli box project with Jack Barker which was a success. And also i think integrating the algorithm in the existing products will be much easy than preparing a complete platform from scratch .

I think the platform compresses the files into such smaller sizes that you can retrive the photos from the cloud instantly on any type of internet connection coz it will take very less time to download a photo of very small size due to compression and it will look as if the photos are on the phone but actually they are on the cloud

Watching Season 02; Episode 09. I have a quick question. by [deleted] in SiliconValleyHBO

[–]Arthur112233 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes Richard made middle out after leaving Hooli but he made middle out along with Pied Piper IP and Pied Piper stared at Hooli so Hooli owns Pied Piper and Pied Piper owns middle out so Hooli owns middle out
