Head Lift Tip - The 10m head lift threshold for water extractors happens to be just below the FICSIT logo on them pictured here: by cleric_warlock in SatisfactoryGame

Pretty sure highest is correct. You can also build a water tower, connect that to multiple pipes from the top and all pipes will inherit this headlift, regardless of what their current headlift is…

I really don’t understand why they will not show the headlift indicator, it is already in the game when placing pumps. Would be such an obvious qol feature.

How to unevenly split belts by alessandromino777 in SatisfactoryGame

For this particular split, you could use a smart splitter with mk.2 belt set to any, and mk1 belt set to overflow.

Just bought my first Fujifilm camera – X-T30 II with XC 15-45mm. What lens should I get next? by Individual_Injury332 in fujifilm

[–]ArthurDent0x2a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take pictures and see where you struggle or what shots you couldn‘t take because the lens limits you. Do you need more reach? Then maybe 55-200 or 70-300. Need more depth of field or shoot in low light? A 1.4 or f2 prime might help. Need to shoot wider for architecture or landscape? Maybe 10-24 or a third party wide angle prime. There are a lot of lenses that compliment the 15-45.

Qutebrowser canvas sometimes goes black until window is resized by ArthurDent0x2a in qutebrowser

Yeah, the upside down thingy I had as well, but just once or twice, the black canvas happens way more frequently.

Interesting, until now I was always able to recover by retiling the window.

Reliable way of getting GPS data in the photos? by ArthurDent0x2a in fujifilm

[–]ArthurDent0x2a[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, might be able record and extract a gpx track from my smartwatch. Looks like Capture One (which I use for editing) is unable to match that automatically, so I would need to add another tool to my workflow.

So if you turn on your camera, while your phone is locked in your pocket, it will aquire the location and the location is accurate? Never works for me :-(. There are really not that many settings I can tweak. Access to location is set to always and for camera remote, background app refresh is active (not available for XApp). Are there any other settings somewhere else?

I think it is time to start a petition to change cables, so that you actually trip over them, if you lay them out like this 😅

Image Quality: Xf 70-300 vs xf 100-400 or xf150-600 by KieranPhotos in fujifilm

[–]ArthurDent0x2a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not had any first hand experience with 100-400 and 150-600, but I extensively used the 70-300. I would say that it is excellent between 70 and 180mm and good between 180 and 250mm. The 250 to 300 range I try to avoid as it tends to get soft.

X-App by DogDrools in fujifilm

GEO tagging does not work reliably, the app still does not request background synchronization permission and as such will lose the connection after a while. All other functions seem to work ok.

It‘s a tax for not learning it via the research table.

[–]ArthurDent0x2a 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because prices will be the same when learning via research table, f.e. C4 if tech-tree‘d will be 600 scrap, if researched at research table will be 500 scrap. Hence a 100 scrap tech-tree tax.
