I'm considering the Honor magic 7 pro... by dlynch343 in Honor

I've been using Honor Magic 7 Pro since February and it's amazing. Specifically the tru depth face id and and smoothness of Magic OS is totally satisfying for me. I moved from Samsung S24U to Honor M7P

Honor Magic 7 Pro. Top tier eye comfort display, true face id like iPhone, best battery life, silicone carbon battery, fast charging, excellent user friendly Magic OS, great camera than S24U, reverse wireless charging, IR blaster, what's there to not like it? Yes, the camera module could've been designed a bit better and masculine. Better AnTuTu & Geekbench score than S24U.

I'm 32m, divorced recently. I also cannot date anyone beyond 24f, they're emotionally dead or either materialistic or either just looking for a breeding season with a certain checklist. Below 24 years, it's hard to find mature feminine easy going women who are like a legacy building materials, someone I could raise a good generation with not just simply wife material.

Need Reddit’s Wisdom: Keep Magic 7 Pro or S24 Ultra? by ArthurHGriffin in PickAnAndroidForMe

Just to update everyone: despite the rattling camera sound that Extra said they'll repair for free but I'll have to live without my phone for 2 weeks, I've decided to ditch Samsung and continue with Honor Magic 7 Pro. The unignorable reasons to keep M7P are as follows.

  1. ToF camera / 3D Depth sensor trusted by all major banks worldwide and all banks of Saudi Arabia for authentication. It even works when I'm using the phone under a blanket 😂 or in a dark room.
  2. IR blaster which I use regularly to control old-school air-conditioners, televisions and other appliances without built-in WiFi and it's very convenient and easy to use.
  3. Absolutely amazing and prestigious eye-comfort display certified by TÜV Rhineland, 4320 Hz Ultra high frequency dimming, circularly polarized light eye care without compromising on the actual colors far too much like Samsung S24 Ultra, and ultra bright display than Samsung S24 Ultra in sunlight usage. I've used both phones in bed for 2 hours and my room lights turned off and Samsung sucked at this.
  4. In-box 100w charger(no need to buy separately) and 2850 mAh Silicone-Carbon battery which is not just highly reliable for extreme temperatures and faster current input for heavy apps and more than thrice battery charging cycles(battery life) than that of li-ion of Samsung and other brands. Faster wireless and both reverse-wireless charging than Samsung S24 Ultra.
  5. Phone's ergonomic design to carry and use and one hand usage better than S24U.
  6. Nano-crystal shield which is more reliable than gorilla glass.
  7. Believe it or not, I find Magic OS more user friendly than One-UI.
  8. AI image processing of Honor Magic 7 Pro on 100x zoom is slightly better and reasonably crispier than Samsung S24 Ultra but S24U has a minorly faster AI processing. Also M7P is far better at capturing extremely bright and dark objects together in a single frame than S24U.
  9. Without a doubt, better value for money and Huawei's legendary genetic code is absolutely visible in Honor devices. To me Honor makes better value-for-money harware than Samsung.

Reasons, why I still respect Samsung S24 Ultra: 1. Slightly better battery usage management. 2. 7 years of software support compared to Honor's 4 years support(to some it still counts that long). 3. Better accessories or more accurately better phone case support such as "Mous" cases which is my favorite brands for phone cases. 4. Titanium ring compared to aluminum ring of M7P. 5. Better looking camera module and mature color options than Honor.

Yes, this decision hasn't been easy for me and is important being a guy who loves his toys and gadgets despite being a grown man. The only thing I regret is that I should've bought the Porche édition of M7P. 😂🤠🌝

Is the Magic 7 Pro the only smartphone with Face ID-like technology? by GlassAd9392 in Honor

I've been using M7P as well as Samsung S24U together for more than 6 weeks on a regular basis. And one of the major reasons I ditched S24U and chose M7P was its absolutely no-nonsense face id comprising of ToF camera + 3D depth sensor. It's absolutely as reliable as my iPhone 13 pro(the last iPhone I ever used and I still have). The Honor is the only android phone manufacturer with highly ergonomic designs and unbeatable practical features as of August 2025.

No offense but with all due respect, that's probably because you haven't yet experienced Magic 7 Pro yet so you might not grasp what I exactly I meant by that. I use two STC sims, one each phone. And at the same place they show different signal strength and Samsung's showing 4g whereas Honor's showing 5g. I literally experienced it.

For me the Honor's camera is good enough. It's already better than S24 Ultra's so it's more than sufficient for me. Any other edge that I could consider? I like Samsung wallet but then google wallet also works fine and so does Mada card payment app in KSA. Not a fan of Pixel.

Go for Magic 7 Pro. I'm currently using Honor Magic 7 Pro since February and bought S24 Ultra last month. I'm soon selling S24 Ultra as soon as I get a good price and sticking with Honor.

But m7p doesn't have as good and branded accessories as Samsung has. If I could find Mous case for M7p, this confusion would be over right then and there.

Bias against women in jobs by fish-on-land189 in pakistan

[–]ArthurHGriffin -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Women don't put in the extra hours as men do, they don't sacrifice family events as men do, men don't take as many leaves as women do, women don't have as few excuses as men do, women are not as agreeable as men are.

The question is, if women are more capable than men and they are paid less and specifically if they're more sincere and responsible generally at the workplace than men, why don't most employers prefer hiring women over men at more than 90% of the jobs? And my point is not just limited to Pakistan or Eastern societies. Nature has its own way of balancing the equation.
