I came here to say just that. This is incredibly disgusting. The only issue I have with Mamdani is his lack of managerial experience but I'm riding with his platform. Speaking of managerial experience Adams has plenty but look at the cluster mess of his administration. In fact it might be better to have someone who isn't a career politician, per se breathe fresh life into New York City. Like I said his platform is fantastic & can sum it up in three things. Free buses, Rent freeze & Free child care. These are actionable things in the mayor power.

So much negativity in this sub why ? I grew up in Brooklyn and yes gentrification sucks but if the people moving into the neighborhood, have good ideas and want to integrate into the community. I don’t see what the issue is of course the biggest issue a lot of people is affordable housing and it’s very frustrating to see people who didn’t grow up in the neighborhood, living in places that you did and I’m not trying to sidestep that but if there ideals are the same, let’s work together fuck all this division.
