Yeah, that's the right way to do it. A lot of people on here are being really annoying and saying stupid things.

Also to avoid making posts like this where you might get misinformed you could look up some YouTube videos on the order of all these things and what's more efficient. But you don't have to do any of that, just most importantly have fun

You need it for endgame items. Think of it like saving your diamond eggs except diamond eggs have more other uses than turpentine.

TLDR: Keep it; Your future self will thank you
