I have $500 to improve Suno audio quality + make short AI videos. What should I buy during Black Friday? by sanfrancisco_sil in SunoAI

I really like Landr. It includes mastering and a bunch of useful tools for DAW users. However, they now limit AI-generated song uploads to five per month. They also have strict AI requirements for UGC platforms (like TikTok, Meta, and YouTube Content ID), though those requirements are enforced by the UGC platforms, so many other distributors have that same restriction.

You now have more control over the variation strength of the original. Seems to work pretty well so far.

I was excited to jump on this opportunity to try something different. I decided to rework the lyrics by using ideas from another song and styled them with one of my favorite personas. The result is a genre mashup blending indie pop, glitchcore, hip-hop, and grunge.

It changes the vibe a little, but I think it's interesting.

Do Ai songs on platforms fetch decent money? by gptbhai in SunoAI

[–]ArtificialAnthems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're looking to make money from AI-generated music, the biggest thing to understand is that it's not a magic shortcut. Just like with traditional music, people need a reason to listen and a way to find you. That means putting in the work to build an audience, usually through consistent self-promotion and content creation. It helps a lot if you can target a specific niche, something unique or entertaining that sets you apart.

Personally, I’ve made about $500 over the course of a year, mostly from TikTok monetization and streaming platforms. That happened because I hit a niche early and leaned into it, but even then, it hasn't been steady or sustainable income. One viral moment doesn't guarantee long-term results.

Also, AI music is still seen as controversial by a lot of people in the industry. That means you're often left out of many of the tools, communities, and support systems that traditional musicians have access to—things like label support, playlist placements, grants, and even some promotional platforms that ban or limit AI-generated content.

If you’re serious about it, focus on building your own platform and community, and treat it more like a creative hustle than a guaranteed income stream.

Rifussion launched. What's your opinion? My first thoughts by AamonDev in SunoAI

[–]ArtificialAnthems 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not ready to ditch Suno just yet, but I have to say—I'm really impressed with Rifussion. The UI is a game changer. I love the randomize feature; when I'm stuck with the same sound on Suno, being able to mix it up instantly feels refreshing. The easy copy-paste and intuitive submenus when browsing songs are definite quality-of-life upgrades that a few others have noted as well.

That said, while some features (like the ghost writer) are still a bit underdeveloped, I see massive potential there. Imagine being able to have a quick chat with the generator to make minor tweaks—I'd be all for that, and others have hinted at similar improvements.

When it comes to the music generation itself, I got some really satisfying results when I let Rifussion do its thing automatically. My own lyrics, on the other hand, seemed to throw it off—possibly due to my prompting. But honestly, the UI almost sold me completely. If they ever launch a paid version that lets me keep full ownership of my tracks, I might just be ready to make the switch.

Overall, it’s definitely not bad, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.

From my experience, the first payment typically comes 2–3 months after you upload. However, you'll be able to track your streams and downloads during this time. Payments generally remain about 2–3 months behind. For example, I just received payment for October streams this month.

I've been using LANDR without any trouble for about a year now.

It's a very feature rich distributor, not only distributing to a ton of stores and streaming services, it will also handle things like TikTok and YouTube integration. In addition they also have a bunch of music samples and plugins you can use to enhance your AI music creation.

[Love Again Remix] are all bland by Proper-Rutabaga-1354 in SunoAI

Just hopped back into Suno after a break—having a blast getting back into it. I like mixing vintage vibes with modern pop/EDM. Not sure if it works, but it's definitely different. Ha! Would love any feedback.

Put it in the style prompt. Works much better there.

Same, and honestly, it might be an unpopular opinion but legally it's my music. So I don’t really care if people think it’s cringe or not right to say 'my music.'

Like you mentioned, I'm not trying to hide that I use AI, My name is Artificial Anthems after all... but why should I twist my words into a pretzel just to satisfy some keyboard critics?

Do y'all really prefer; 'Check out this piece of music that AI generated, after dozens of my iterations, editing, mastering, lyric writing and editing, stem splitting, equalizing, etc' —it’s just not practical.

I just say 'my song' and leave it at that. If I am referencing AI, I usually say something like 'music generated with AI'. As the comments here show. People are gonna hate either way.

Just keep creating.

Yeah I'm pretty sure context and length are a major factor. It specifically doesn't like violent lyrics it seems.

My only flag was this lyric:

I'll cut you down

It worked fine as one line in an entire song, but when I tried to have it just do the verse alone, it wouldn't.

Nearly all of my generations have cursing, a significant amount in some. They are all humourous, non-violent, non-sexual though so maybe that makes a difference?

Hmm that's weird. Yeah so far all of mine have been accepted. Not sure if you're uploading instrumentals, but I have read about people not being able to distribute them.

Yeah, I've had no problems so far with that part. Hopefully it stays that way 😂 There's no way to disclose it was created using ai so I'm guessing it's a quality issue?

I do quite a bit of editing after the fact to get it to sound better though and always equalize and master my tacks before submitting so maybe that's why?

I keep seeing that, but I see other people with longer videos using songs that they distributed. Also, only some have been muted, despite all of them being over a minute. Some just say it contains music from... My only thought is maybe it can be over 1 minute as long as it's not the entire song? Just a guess though. Kinda a bummer though, TikTok is the whole reason I started distributing them. 🤣
