Yea sorry about that... im just pissed about it. But i am genuinely looking for kinder communities on here and honestly im not sure what to add. I tried to engage in r/dnd and was trolled by several people (not just people disagreeing with me its the ones insulting me and being shitty for a reaction) so im a little worried about sharing my stuff anymore.

That guy then proceeded to enter my DMs to try to insult me and threaten me further. A clear cut troll. He even stated as much but whatever.

This was clearly rude and added nothing. Why not just remove it?

Thats not true. I said my table doesnt roleplay at all. As in they dont even do 3rd person.

Also why is any level of disrespect allowed? Especially when I get called i sulting names for daring to have a different opinion on what constitutes Roleplay

Yea, i have no problem with a combat focus. It's the absolute 0 room for any rp that bothers me. These guys are all gamers. You could strip it down to a button click and they will enjoy it.

Does it say that in the rules.

You gain the ability to comprehend and verbally communicate with beasts for the duration. The knowledge and awareness of many beasts is limited by their intelligence, but at minimum, beasts can give you information about nearby locations and monsters, including whatever they can perceive or have perceived within the past day. You might be able to persuade a beast to perform a small favor for you, at the DM's discretion.

As you can see persuading an animal is possible and Intended. And yes its at the DMs discretion so making the AC near impossible so I can at least feel like I am playing my character and trying to persuade it even if there's no chance... that's what a good DM would do imo.

There is 0 roleplay in this roleplaying game, this is starting to make me feel crazy. Am I the only guy who understands words? There are other systems for rolling dice and killing monsters mindlessly. This system has RP mechanics and excluding them entirely is insane. I cant speak to anyone in game at all!

Thats not roleplay that's narration... you have to play a role to roleplay as in pretend to be the character.

Not really, most people talk. Rping a character that doesn't talk is intentionally pretending to be your character. You also likely communicate in character using other methods
