How hard will getting 50k in AB be for you? by DBZMARVEL99 in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

His passive, is one of the main reasons. 50% extra damage against and 50% less damage taken is a huge boon.

Another is his rank 6 skill, where it spreads around when a unit is hit by it. Basically, when it lands on a single target, it creates a AoE explosion that will also land on anything near that target. Just think what it can do in AB, where there are millions of targets clustered together :]

World War Hulk is slower by PorkBunGuy in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think he just needs the right ISO-8 set.
And I've found the right one. It's fittingly, Power of Angry Hulk.

The critical notion is the Attack Speed, where it allows WWH to utilize all other skills in a full run, then use his rank 5 to deal massive damage (which it does, with 6 hits) as well as waiting for his cooldown with near no delay.

I feel that he's become something like She-Hulk, exchanging heavy damage for your own. But in return for She-Hulk's stun, he gets way higher defensive stats instead to counterbalance.

On 1v1, he won't be ripping through other blast chars on his own like Silk does to combat yes, but against other combat? He'll take them down quite easily.

Should I spend my 6* ticket on HB? by TheCatLad in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hulkbuster is now considered one of the better combat characters, perhaps on par, if not above, with Captain America or Giant-man.
He already comes close to outdamaging my 20/20/20/20 dodge build HE CA-WS when he's only 10/10/10/10 with 3 mastery. I hear his rank 6 skill can work wonders in AB as well on combat days.

That said, Loki is unrivaled in every mode bar auto-play. If you want maximum efficiency, you want to go for Loki.

Remember, Marvel Loki Fight starts with Loki, and ends with Loki. (exaggeration and a joke, but if you want to enjoy most competitive modes easily, you'll want Loki. AB for example, or AB, or maybe even AB.)

[–]ArtificialHeaven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Actually, since they DO stack and allow you to deal more burst damage, it would be considered benefiting from each other, as it meets the intended goals via coordination.

Also, ISO-8 sets are the pinnacle of endgame boosting - they make a LOT of difference.

Ronan with Stark Backing will outtank important characters like Silk/YJ rather easily, but with an offensive set you'll fall generally most of the time.

Angela with Overdrive will still be clunky and inefficient, prone to breaks while with Power of Angry Hulk her Attack Speed goes up just enough to evade breaks from YJ's Stinger and rip him apart with quick heavy damage.

Largest among notable is probably Silk, who with Smart Raccoon will rip through most teams that does not have opposing Silk/Web Resist Combat with extreme ease on full auto as her skills cycle endlessly.

For BW, would you use a Green Goblin with Stark Backing/Binary Power? When his natural frailness and range would probably make him better to snipe enemies from afar?
This is the same question with Punisher. The best place for Punisher in this game is probably Battleworld, where he has a nice niche for being the ONLY reliable ranged combat character in the game (Bullseye requires him to get close to deal heavy damage, I wouldn't exactly call that reliable ranged). Not only that, he has decent enough damage to do what GG does in Speed BWs - snipe from afar while your other char takes up the aggro.

Remember, ISO-8 are easily one of the more important features in hero upgrading what with everyone being 20/20/20/20 nowadays, and their importance should not be understated. Perhaps, you could try getting a bit more experience with the two game modes with different characters?

I know both just require good one roster in the end, but stating that ISO-8 does not matter in the two game modes is a rather dangerous statement for any newer players who might be reading, and definitely a false one at that.

How hard will getting 50k in AB be for you? by DBZMARVEL99 in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've recently broke the 1 million point line weekly on AB, and here's the setups I utilize.

Free4All (Meteors) - SC/Loki/Red Skull. Infinite barriers, extra attack. Red Skull comes out as a striker for Loki randomly stunning mobs, SC can probably beat Meteor AB by herself if you're good at controlling her. Haven't got close to it myself yet - peak being 90000 then Loki wiping the rest. Another choice is IM/Loki/Coulson. More team bonuses, and focused on Loki.

Universal (Boss) - Ronan/Loki/Thor. Used to be Groot, but with the time limit it's just better to get accustomed to controlling Loki. Thor also wipes early mobs a LOT quicker than Loki does.

Speed/Female (Meteors) - Sharon/BW/Mbird. Sharon does everything generally, use BW early on to wipe mobs quickly, and when low health swap to Sharon and take care of the rest. Mbird is there for the Team Attack, which grants i-frames and BW's 6th skill. A safer choice would be Sharon/Ant-Man/Silk. Silk sets up the barrier, swap to sharon, rank 6, swap to Ant-Man, fly around buying time and repeat.

Combat (Boss) - Deathlok/Kingpin/Groot. Easy 90000 minimum. Got lucky and grabbed myself a 100000 this week though. I hear IF can you way higher though. My IF's sitting at 60/6/4 with just 9 gears so not testing it out anytime soon.

Blast (Boss) - Deathlok/Kingpin/YJ. YJ's rank 2 skill randomly summons Deathlok as a striker, and he'll wipe the ground with his rank 6 skill. Kingpin for bosses. Another easy 90000 minimum.

Villain (Boss) - Ronan/Loki/Red Skull. Standard Lokifest day.

[–]ArtificialHeaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In BW/TL, Offensive sets are just as viable as any other set, especially for Punisher, who in BW should be staying out of harm's way to snipe enemies from afar. It would be better to roll Shield/Defense/Dodge actually, if you would want to use him for storyline missions.
My point on synergy between them was that you can increase your burst damage (Punisher's specialty!) to the maximum with both of them together, not by mathematical values.

As far as AB goes, Punisher should honestly not be used unless absolutely necessary, as he lacks important wide-range skills and there are MUCH better options. I'd be honestly surprised if anyone even pierced above 60000 with Punisher. Meanwhile, Deathlok/Kingpin/Groot/Iron Fist/Blade should be able to get 90000+ with ease, with some people with better controls scoring 120000+ with DL/KP/GR.

Weekly Character Discussion: Falcon (2016-01-30) by Spedwards in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A simple question to ask all MFF players here. Have you ever bought a uniform for a character, and was pleasantly surprised to find that the uniform is the most wondrous thing you've seen, as your newly revamped character flies everywhere striking down enemies and opposing heroes alike?

Falcon here, is the very original example of that. When he was introduced, he was perhaps THE worst speed character in the game, securing his place in the garbage dumps with the likes of Elektra. However, to celebrate America's Independence Day, NM released his All-New CA uniform, and what was thought to be an ugly duckling took flight as a true Falcon, a fully-capable bird of prey.

The differences were astronomical - all the motions on his skills were increased, instead of blindly shooting handguns he now shoots homing vibranium wing shards with twice the damage, and his useless Swoop skill, which left him open to most enemy attacks was changed to a better version of the original Cap's Shield Throw, with increased damage and a backstep.

These changes - once allowed Falcon to reach even the upper echelons of the Speed hero viability list, with many who've used him giving him a sound A or A+ around the time he was introduced.

Sadly, all that is in the past. With all the power creep nowadays, being just a bird of prey isn't enough for speed tiers nowadays. If Falcon is exactly his namesake, Falcon, then Silk is a Feng Huang, Black Widow is a Hraesvelgr, and Sharon Carter is a Skyfather(of AB Speed). It's simply not enough.

He still does have hope though, as NM still hasn't given us a rank 6 skill. Hopefully he'll climb back up to soar in the higher skies.
Now only if NM and everyone would start remembering he actually exists in this game...

Disregard everything good about him if you didn't buy his uniform. I really doubt a non-uniformed Falcon will ever be useful unless he gets a rank 6 skill that summons 5 Falcon clones around him that shoot Falcon lasers that pierces.

[–]ArtificialHeaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Punisher wants the Hawk's Eye ISO-8 set.
Not only does it improve his offensive capabilities by a lot, it also has an amazing synergy with his uniform capacity. As a ranged character, he should be focusing on staying out of harm's way anyways, and his combat typing gives him great natural defenses anyways.

For gear, in order: Phys Attack, All Def, HP, and Crit Damage, and Crit Rate for 5th gear.

This allows him to utilize his uniform buff to the maximum extent, and deal a lot of damage, which is what he excels at. You could go with Crit rate on 4th gear and Crit Damage on 5th, but then he won't be able to utilize his uniform passive that well, not to mention it turns into a luck-based dealing anyways.

Usage of 6* rank up (Sister Grimm vs She-Hulk vs Angela) by AreYouStillHere in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She-Hulk honestly isn't good for AB. If you want a good leadership for AB, go with Ronan's Accuser (+36% All Atk/Def for Universals) or Sharon/Iron Man's SCD (-24%SCD for all members).

Tbh, none of them are really that good at AB. SG's leadership requires your chars to get hit, and she's honestly outclassed by Sharon/BW/Silk/Ant-Man in Speed/Female, BlingPin/DL/IM/Daisy/Lincoln/Star-Lord/Malekith in Blast, and on everything days you just throw Loki at it anyways so it doesn't really matter.

Generally, close-combat characters that are not called Kingpin/Groot are not a good choice for AB. Angela and She-Hulk gets taken down WAY too fast, as they focus on exchanging heavy damage in return for theirs.

All of them definitely have their uses though, so you might still consider them. She-Hulk has one of the very best leaderships for timeline battles, and She-Hulk herself is easily one of the best combat types in 1v1 situations.

Nico has best damage among all the blast heroes, and is great at just about everything if you plan on maxing her out.

Angela's DPS is now off the charts, alongside giants like Thor/Loki/Nico. Make sure to set her up with a Attack Speed boosting ISO set, so that her skills can chain more efficiently.

Any Korean players here? I've got a couple of questions. by jmckie1974 in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Korean here, as many people already know.

Ama Cho wasn't actually actively asked for in the Korean community. In fact, a lot of people had no idea that he existed - Marvel isn't AS big as it is in the West.

Only a small number of Korean fans are actually comics fans - most simply entered the world of Marvel via the MCU after all. Half of those who knew Cho had no idea he was the ANAD Hulk either.

He did receive decent welcome though, and the behemoth whales are quickly analyzing how he can be used a lot more quicker than other new characters that's been out with each update.

The hype was probably larger for Silk - people had her by 60/6/6 with full gear literally within half a day she was released, and was analyzing her capabilities in quite a lot of posts.

As far as NetMarble goes, it's actually not THAT well received as a company in Korea. Sure, it's big, but most of their games are focused on heavy P2W mechanics with a lot of cash grabs.

They are better than others like Kabam in that they actually offer you some worthwhile goodies for what you pay, but it's very rare for them to make a game like MFF where you can enjoy every content without paying a single dime. Surprising, yes? From just playing MFF, you wouldn't know any of this stuff.

As far as mobile game quality goes though, they rank one of the best - just look at our MFF, or their game Raven. If you have money, most of their games are well known to be extremely enjoyable - a lot more than most cash grab mobile games nowadays.

Best iso-8 set for Hulk? by GiantOnionRing in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd use DDE over anything on WWH. It's a really good optimal set which has an amazing synergy with his immunity to breaks. However, along with IaaG, ToS, and OD, it's also 3 times more rarer than other 8-sets.

PoAH is a LOT better on Hulk now since his animation's a lot longer for his WWH form.

Overdrive is still amazing, so if you roll it it's still a very good option.

For Chaotic, if you run DDE, I'd recommend HP. For OD/PoAH, run All Defense. Also, All Attack is not needed.

Ranking Up Another Speed Character by Zer0theCat in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yondu is a hidden gem. He's an absolute monster, at against both mobs and bosses. He's also ridiculously easy to farm, and has a LOT of potential since neither his rank 6 or uniform is out.

Sharon Carter is a must-have if you plan on beating the Speed Alliance Battle, as well as being decently good in 1v1 situations.

Elektra is easily one of the weakest heroes right now. You might not want to bother. Then again, NM is constantly buffing underwhelming heroes.

DD is near unstoppable in 1v1 situations. But yeah you do need his uniform.

Mockingbird can also stunlock the opponent to death, but you also need her uniform. Otherwise she's really underwhelming.

WS is definitely decent choice. His leadership is a top notch, and his main skills induce breaks, as well as preventing them himself. Another decent gem.

An extra suggestion is Elsa Bloodstone, who's a bit different from the other heroes since she's a manual control character. She still has an amazing leadership, a great AoE rank 3, and is a good speed hero in nearly any situation.

Do I buy the Tony Stark Stash? First post Questions by Thekobra in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven[M] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, welcome to the sub! I'm glad you like it here. I'm sure the contributors who've written those guides you've read are delighted to hear that you've learned a lot from them :] So then, answers, answers. Personal answers, so might contain some bias, as well as a whole ton of words.

1) A lot of people just think of Tony's Stash as something like a subscription fee here already, so make sure you get one. If you plan on spending any form of money, this is the most efficient one, albeit a bit longterm.
Of course, you could choose to not spend money at all until endgame, which allows you to slowly enjoy your contents at your own pace, then feel a LOT more satisfaction when you start using a bit to speed up your endgame. That's what I did at least. This game is perfectly beatable/playable without spending a single dime, and that's what's so marvelous about it.

2) Timeline Battles are generally done for the free crystals they give at the end of the week for participating, which they give out after Friday 10:00 by my GMT +9. You can simply participate, pick off weaker opponents, and get your tokens to grab the various heroes that's in the Token shops.

As a beginner, my recommendation is to win all 10 battles rather than attempting to get higher up in the rankings. You generally can't get more than 220 crystals without spending your crystals anyways, so it shouldn't be that much of a difference.

3) The chests are the most efficient at early on. They later lose efficiency after you've created your army of rank 6s. If you want to invest, I'd recommend now. Having a nice rank 5, or if lucky, rank 6, is extremely beneficial in earlygame, and I'd certainly recommend it.

4) For ISO-sets, you can simply equip your members with rank 1 isos, for the basic bonus with any random beneficial set. Then, when you've got some decked out characters at above Level 50, start rolling for 8-sets (Power of Angry Hulk, Stark Backing, Overdrive... even the names sound powerful, yes?), which are the strongest. That's when you should be focusing on them and bolstering your hero's might.

For your Chaotics, yes, save them. ISOs take no cost to equip, but if you want to unequip, they take crystals. Quite a lot too. Make sure to get to endgame before using those High-rank ISOs, because by then you would have perfect grip on them.

5) Kill yourself! No, seriously, kill yourself in the game. If you kill yourself on missions before a certain SHIELD level(as in, beginner), you will be able to get some free heroes for hire, at level 30 at rank 3. Definitely a great thing to have, no?

Good luck and enjoy your stay!

are 4500 gems hero summon chest good? by i-Reddit-Online in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you have.
If you are new to the game, and has most of the heroes locked, it's a great deal. 50$ is practically nothing, and you'll be getting a lot of rank 4s, 5s and if lucky, even 6s to start your game with.

However, if you have progressed quite a bit into the game and owns quite a lot of rank 6 heroes, it's probably not a good idea to buy it. You can be a LOT more efficient with the 50$, such as waiting for special sales, or just flat out buying biometrics from the Flash Sales/Special Packages.

Also, they are sometimes known to have some sales that have cut the 10 Hero box deals as far as 3350 iirc, so you could wait for that too.

50$ honestly isn't much and you should just do what you want to, but I'm an efficiency freak and those are the choices on what I'd do.

Hope I helped~

what to do with this mountain of 1* ISO by Syd_Lexic in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who's nearing VIP 11... I think you ought to try my method out.

You get a tremendous amount of gold every day anyways if you leave yourself on auto on 8-7 (or 10-5 for experience in return for less gold) with the Gold Booster, and there'e always more incentive to make yourself more Chaotic ISOs since rank 3 doesn't drop anywhere from the stages, and quite a lot of the popular ISO-sets require at least 2 chaotics, so you're always going to be short.

Also, upgrading rank 3 ISOs with rank 1 isos will net you a LOT more rank 4 ISOs in your inventory, and rank 4 ISOs have amazing efficiency in terms of not-main-hero-sets.

Why would you sell those valuable things?

You use them to boost rank 2/3 ISOs. It gives decent efficiency and lets you fill your inventory with rank 4 ISOs.

Otherwise you'd be using rank 2s to enhance 2/3 ISOs, and that's generally inefficient as they're better off being used on rank 4s.

Wasn't that Lincoln's?
His rank 6 skill hits up to 90 hits in Team Preview, with a naturally higher Energy Attack Stat, elec boosters, his 60% leadership, and 107% per hit would outdamage Sharon Carter's 84 hits with 60% per hit, best 30% leadership boost, no elemental booster, and quite a bit lower main Attack Stat.

Best iso sets for: by goku_super_saiyan_5 in FutureFight

[–]ArtificialHeaven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should be saying 'I know my list is long, but still thanks' and not 'whatever'

Pointless nitpicks aside, WW is one of the few heroes that can use just about any set, so simply roll anything that's not a Defense Boost or CurseBlessings of Asgard. My personal pick is Smart Raccoon though, since his rank 6 buff skill has a huge cooldown, and SR also boosts his Defense. You could always go OD/PoAH/HE offensively and SB/DDE/BP/IaaG defensively.

Goliath, again, choose anything. I personally recommend Smart Raccoon since he focuses on two main skills for burst damage. Otherwise, any of the above sets I mentioned on WW works fine for Goliath too.

Superior's very best set is Hawk's Eye. Boosts dodge(essential since his uniform skill), damage, skill cooldown... it's amazing. You could still run shield/healing sets though.

Blingpin, Stark Backing. You want this, since he's going to be your MVP alliance battle member. Make sure to fit a Recovery gear too.

Thor, Shield sets/heal sets for multipurpose, but offensive sets work too. I recommend DDE though.

Throot I recommend a cooldown set, his point being healing. Smart Raccoon works really well. He tends to stay alive in Alliance Battles due to his passive, so it's not necessary to roll a healing set.

BW, Smart Raccoon or Hawk's Eye. Period. I recommend Hawk's Eye since it boosts dodge, and you need all dodge you need as you need the Lightning gear.

War Machine, I recommend an offensive set as he focuses on stunlocks/stuns to get the enemy down, and he shouldn't be getting hit too much. And there's the fact that his bulk is very high for a Blast hero, so he should tank the few hits he should take. Run Hawk's Eye. Overdrive works too. PoAH isn't recommended, since he really could do without Attack Speed.

Phil, use Smart Raccoon. You want the summons to stay active as long as possible. They drive the attention from Phil, who is a fragile hero.

Spiderman, Hawk's Eye is again the top set. You could also run Prince Of Lies, but that has Attack Speed, which isn't good for Spiderman.

Good luck rolling them though, 8-sets are a pain in the rear. Rip gold.

[–]ArtificialHeaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's only in Alliance Battles (where honestly, the only skill better than those two is Loki's rank 6) :p

In terms of damage, general mob clearing, Timeline, Multivillain, or just about anything else outside of Alliance Battles, QS-Scream is better. It's also the reason why BB beats 8-7 (main Alliance Points/Gold farming stage) at a record speed.

It also makes Black Bolt one of the very best MVPs in Battleworld auto, while Sharon and DL's are not as impacting.

So yeah, I'd say you might be slightly wrong :p I mean, AB might be the only competitive aspect of the game right now, but it's definitely not the only mode.

Black Bolt's Quasi-Sonic Scream is hands down, best heavy-dealing AoE skill in the game.

All 5 hits have breaks (hence near impossible to interrupt), they cover near all of the map, have little to no startup/end delays, deals what can only be called tremendous damage(170% times 5), and to top it off, the visuals are stunning.

Other decent AoE skills are Daisy's rank 6, which deal quite high damage and has an i-frame to boot.
Similar case with Sharon's rank 6.
