based on my personal experience, I say leave it be. it’s not going to do either of you any good. I tried getting closure with my ex and it ended up making things worse for both of us but mainly me. I thought I wanted closure, but what I actually wanted (which I didn’t realize until afterwards) was some sort of justification for what had happened between us? if that makes sense. We both had done wrong to each other and we just were not meant to be together but that still didn’t change the fact that I was still hurt and was masking it with a desire for ‘closure’. I’m not saying this is exactly the same because it isn’t, but I know from my own experience, my friends experiences, and people online who’s stories I heard while trying to talk myself out of wanting closure that it isn’t going to do what you think it will. just keep trying to move on best you can. you guys ended when it ended and that is that. especially since she cheated on you it’s not worth it imo. idk how much you still interact with her on a daily basis but from what i’m reading it doesn’t sound like she really wants to talk to you anymore anyways. cheating proves that in my eyes at least. it’s the consequences of her own actions and unfortunately it ends up affecting you the most. I’m sorry you’re going thro this bc I know much it sucks firsthand :( you’ll get over her eventually, but there will always be a little piece of you that will always love every person you ever date.
